If you don't count the animations made for commercials or video games, and if you don't count the crossover in the second Dr.Slump tv serie or with One Piece, it's the first Dragon Ball animated production since Dragon Ball GT Episode 64, eleven years ago.

That little guy on the left does look like a DBO Yardrat. Chances for this being a DBO related tie-in have increased.

What I want to know is who the other guy in that section is. We've got all the Saiya-jin types that he looks anything like already acounted for. By appearances I'd guess him to be a Saiya-jin, from what little we can see. The armor, the black spikey hair, the black eyes. But... he's got a Gohan like face with a Vegeta like scowl. Odd. Very very odd.

Looking at this page of the website, it seems that you can only get in with an invitation. Details of how to get these invitations will be released in the August 4th issue of Weekly Jump and Jump SQ, as well as the July 19th issue of V Jump. So um, that V Jump issue should be out already...

The crisper version of the poster looks really nice though; I'm hoping that is a young Vegeta in it.

I liked the original design for the yardratians better (if that little guy on the poster is supposed to be a re-design).

I guess they are trying to keep bootleggers out. So if the special shows up on the internet, they have a list of folks to go after.

I'm going to be disappointed if those are the four new characters [the red and blue guys, the yellow guy, and the little vegeta/gohan looking saiyan] I was hoping for a powerful looking villian or something. I was hoping for a new "fight" not a DBO or neko majin crossover.

Ok, here is my take on it. Each panel is a different time line. Its not one big image. Even though the palm trees are shown as one in this image the characters aren't. These are all taken from different times. The upper left shows the era when Lunch was living with Roshi. The Bottom right shows the Android\Cell saga. You can just guess the rest. The thing next to young Vegeta (?) seems to be a friendly time travler and the ones in the Saiyan outfits seem to be the evil time travlers. Yea, I know, I know. It really don't make sence but that's what Iam thinking when I see this.

You know, I like that idea a lot. I hope its something similar to that. I'm curious as to how they end up involving Goku and the others.

I really like the idea, and it supports my "Bulma's in a time machine in that poster" theory...here's how: Bulma (and her machine) are in the same panel as Gohan and Videl, but it seems like Gohan is saluting to Bulma, as if to say good bye, or maybe to say hello. I know he could be doing this because he's about to zoom off, but it could also be because Bulma's about to zoom off tp the future/past or has just zipped into his time-line. Just my theory.

Also, due to my scrutinizing I have come to the conclusion that Bulma's mouth looks really retarded in this poster.

It could be, or it could be that this was a new model of time-machine, which Bulma would need to be able to keep traveling without having to always stop for so long for her machine to refuel.

For the panel with the humans figthers, it's can be from the seven years between the Cell and Buu sagas, it's should explain Yamcha and Krillin.

Also, I just noticed that Gohan's gi is a new one, since it don't have the big blue belt, but a tiny black belt like the one on Goten's gi.

It only explain Krillin, since Yamcha has that haircut in the Buu Saga. Also, that outfit Krillin is wearing is from the Saiyan Saga, not Cell

And between Cell and Buu, Kaioshin and Videl have no place in the story, do they? Not to mention that in that poster, Kaioshin is already fused with Kibito.

I use Tanooki Kuribo's theory that each panel show a different time period.

So in this case, Yamcha and Krillin are post-Cell saga/pre-Buu saga and Videl and East Kaioshin are post-Buu saga.
