Yeah well, Gohan's also seen cycling in the second DBZ OP.JulieYBM wrote:'Dude'?
I'll need to chew on that...
...espicially the bike thing. You'd think Son would rather run to school or something.
But I get what you mean.
@Rocketman: Done.
That doesn't totally rule out the Bulma meeting, but the "behind the scenes picture" of Bulma holding a gun to Goku's head as if she just met him for the first time in a house does seem to rule out the hope of the movie showing them meet the same as how it happened in the manga.Bura wrote:I already knew about the rumours of Goku getting hit by a car, but I was hoping it would be Bulma hitting him... not Carey D;
This is the Dragonball movie we're talking about here, Goku needing his tail to transform you say? Rubbish.Rocketman wrote:Would you mind shrinking or linking that giant pic, please?
That would be neat to get an Oozaru reference. But wouldn't that mean he'll have his tail?
At the risk of starting an endless war of corrections, shouldn't that be "スーパーサイヤ人" instead of "スパーサイヤ人"? Either that or "超サイヤ人" with the "スーパー" as furigana.Tatsunoboshi Horoko wrote:Your Japanese needs to be MOAR BETTERER! "ドラゴンボール:奴はスパーサイヤ人!?地球のスーパーヒーロー孫悟空!!" ("Dragonball: Yatsu wa Super Saiyajin!? They've been moving the release date back for a while.mrkaizoku wrote:You should throw a 伝説 in there just for good measure.
Wasn't this movie going to come out much earlier? When the writer's strike was going on I seem to remember this having an earlier release date.
All the new tidbits that are coming out are more and more disappointing. At this rate they may as well just change all the character's names. They are doing whatever they want with it anyway. Why not just change it to "Dragonball 90210"?
Probably. I just haven't written much of anything in Japanese for about two months now so I'm a little rusty.Herms wrote:At the risk of starting an endless war of corrections, shouldn't that be "スーパーサイヤ人" instead of "スパーサイヤ人"? Don't you know of the スパーサイヤ人? They draw their powers from the Allspark. (Horrid pun.) But, yes, let the correction war wage on. You have the right idea. Throw in an adjective behind the double exclamation marks to make it even more hardcore, while you're at it.You should throw a 伝説 in there just for good measure.
Do mean when the first release date was announced, because it was originally scheduled to come out a couple of months ago, then it was bumped way back to early 2009, and has since been bumped back a couple of times, but only by a couple of days at a time. If I remember correctly it is currently set to release on April 10, 2009 an dhas been for a few weeks now.mrkaizoku wrote:Wasn't this movie going to come out much earlier? The first release date was August 25,2008. Thank god that it got bunked back. More POST-PRODUCTION FTW!!!SSj_Rambo wrote:Do mean when the first release date was announced, because it was originally scheduled to come out a couple of months ago, then it was bumped way back to early 2009, and has since been bumped back a couple of times, but only by a couple of days at a time. Oh, I just checked, guess your right. And from what I read, after reviewing how long it was going to take them to film the movie FOX realized that they would have had no time for post-production had they released the film in August of '08, so it's a very good thing that they delayed the release date, for post-production's sake, but I don't think that they had to delay it that much, especially since they moved it past the day it premiers in Japan by nearly a month.Pain wrote:The first release date was August 25,2008. Yeah, I think that they pushed it back a little too far, as well.SSj_Rambo wrote:Oh, I just checked, guess your right. Maybe it was the earliest date they could get? I'm under the impression movies have to "reserve" spaces at the theaters ahead of time and the August date was the one picked well in advance until they realized it wouldn't work out.Pain wrote:Yeah, I think that they pushed it back a little too far, as well.SSj_Rambo wrote:Oh, I just checked, guess your right. Cuz everyone know tigers make things fiercer. Knowing Justin's shape, he'll need it.

They also make them grrrreat.
You know I never noticed until now that their full name is "Frosted Flakes of Corn". Huh.
Cereal puns aside, I fail to see what tigers have to do with Goku. Wouldn't a turtle make more sense, seeing as he trained under Kamesennin?![]()
Also, anyone else get a weird vibe that they might slash Mai and Piccolo Daimou? That is make them a couple?
Well, he wears orange, and he's strong. I guess that's kind of tiger-like. And he eats tigers when he can find them.SSj_Rambo wrote:First off, why does Goku have some sort of tiger standing on a Dragonball on his shirt? I know that we don't even know if this shirt will be in the movie, but this is pretty interesting.
