Wouldn't Elder Kai be a tranny or something like that?
I think it's better to describe Elder Kai as a hermaphadite (sp?).

Oh God, it's spreading. On the Japanese Wikipedia page for the androids they now have a section for "game background information", which is composed entirely of crazy not-actually-from-Legacy of Goku II stuff, like Tao Pai Pai being Android #9 and Dr. Uiro being Android #21. I figure I ought to bring all this to Wikipedia's attention somehow, but it seems like a lot of work.

We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

Didn't know about Mera and Gora, so thanks for pointing that out.

I didn't know Gozu and Mezu were the Japanese names for the ox-head and horse-face oni, so thanks for mentioning that too. With Gozu/Goz and Mezu/Mez, it's just that when romanizing things, "u"s tend to get shaved off. In Japanese, with the exception of "n", you can't not write things that don't end in a consonant, and "u" is basically the one chosen to be used when there isn't supposed to be any consonant after (with t/d syllables it's "o" that's used like this). So with torankusu you take out the "o" and two "u"s to get Trunks (the "a" to "u" is a different can of worms). But all this is only done with either foreign words written in Japanese (or names based on them, like Trunks) or totally made up names. But since Gozu and Mezu are actual Japapese names for something (which again I didn't know), the "u"s at the end should be left on, which is what I'll do from now on.

Another thing is that in DragonBall Gozu and Mezu's names are written in katakana, the alphabet for foreign or made-up words (and slang and a few other random uses), instead of kanji, so that's partly why I didn't realize their names were Japanese.
