Wow those are two pretty relevant characters right there that your telling off.

From what I've gathered in my time on Daizex, Rocketman hates at least a good 60-70 percent of the Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z cast, regardless of how prominent they are or aren't, so his response here doesn't much surprise me.

I could definitely picture some cameos. Maybe a brief introduction and then expand on them in the sequel.

Maybe Vegeta would take Kuririn's place? Son may play up their 'relationship' a little more then in the series, but hopefully in the sense of two warriors.

I like Krillin and am neutral towards Tien. In a two-hour adaption where things must be cut, however, I shed no tears at them being lost. Especially if it means that ChiChi doesn't get tossed aside like what happened in the real story.

Besides, Tien had no relevance once Z started.

So if Chatwin = Gohan, Chung = Videl, and Marsters = Dabura, this film would be a lot easier to accept I'd say.

Uh, didn't ChiChi fight Mai in the TOURNAMENT in the movie? I thought it was comfirmed there would be a tournament, there are pictures and everything.

I think Krillin is the most likely because they probably have trouble pronouncing Kuririn.

I think what people mean is that while there's going to be a tournament in the movie, it's not going to necessarily be the tournament (Tenkaichi Budokai).

If my neighbor's kid brother could pronounce Kuririn (more or less) properly as a mildly spacey 10 year old, surely it can't be all that hard.

Now, I can pronounce Kuririn correctly but what really bugs me is 'Shin' being pronounced like 'Shen'.

There is going to be a World Tournament in this movie. Whether or not it works or is organized exactly like the one we know remains to be seen. But it ain't the Cell Games, so what else could it be?

Anyone got a clue as to what the characters on the floor of the ring mean? I know those aren't the ones for Tenkaichi Budoukai.

Also hoping the ring looks bigger than it does there in the movie.

He said "Isn't there supposed to be a World Tournament in this movie ?", and no, there isn't supposed to be a World Tournament (Proper Noun). "(A) tournament of champions" could be anything. So if you could please be so kind, do not skew my simple "No." into a fanboy tirade, of which is was certainly not.

And before you say, "But DJWhatchacall it, we don't know if it's supposed to be the Tenkaichi Budokai yet!" Well, yeah. Read what he said.

I think I said this earlier, but they're the kanji for "valley" and "mountain".

The pic could be from a prelimanary match in a smaller ring, like from the anime.
