I think you just proved my point; the danish manga is more ridiculously un-reliable than its english counter part :P

Sorry for a little bit of an OT, but I hate when people criticise dub for lines like "going the way of the dodo". I mean, aside from the fact that aliens shouldn't even know human language, Freeza talks about "showing you the terror beyond hell". How the hell can he talk about a concept from Earth religion? Or refering to his enemies as "monkeys" or "worms". Stop nitpicking so much, people.
It's party time, Ginyu style!

Yeah? Well, it has a character called Mr. Satan. The english one does not, unless you count that stupid and very wrong line they added.

Well.. It might have something to do with the fact that hell actually DOES exist in the DB world. Nothing to do with religion. If Goku could meet God, why shouldn't Freeza or one of his ancestors have met their planet's (or some other random planet's) God, who can travel between the world of the living and the dead, where hell is located.

And also, the fact Freeza is a mass world conqueror, and a lot of the planets that exist in the DB world are similar to Earth, it is entirely possible for Freeza to know about primates and worms.

But hell, going by that logic, it would also be possible for him to know about dodos. It just makes less sense: All references to Earth stuff he makes in the Japanese version are just things that comes with the language, expressions and the such. Such an expression would make no sense in the DB world, because dodos are not extinct. And that's why a lot of people let the phrases annoy them.

Me? I stopped letting myself become involved with such tedious affairs as letting the dub annoy me for several years.

Have you noticed in the DBZ series when Trunks let King Cold see his sword that the sword "magicly" got bigger and King Cold was able to hold it with both hands and the sword was bigger than Trunks' whole body? Does that seem odd to anyone else, or is that just bad drawing?

It was probably just a perspective thing. Besides when Cold weilds Trunks' sword "two handed" I think he was just holding onto the pomel really.

Yeah.....little things like that tend to bug me though....I start to wonder about those kind of things and lose all track of what I'm watching, I just wish somethings were made a little clearer.....
