Dude, Mario Bros. and Final Fantasy were awesome movies! They just had absolutely nothing to do with their source material...

You can't just pull that "I can't help but get mad, it's too irritating" crap. We are only human, and human beings control their own actions and reactions. You're not some helpless victim of horrible moviemaking.

I hope this movie doesn't turn out like Super Mario Bros., and by that. I mean I hope it doesn't end with a cliffhanger, and I'm left for 15 years waiting for a sequel that will never happen.

Of course I can.

We can control our reactions? I don't know about you, but I can't control or decide that something is going to piss me off or annoy me. Emotions are a reflex. And no, I don't think I'm a victim. But I'm also not a criminal just because I'm irritated.

I would love it if someone were to do a well-done, MST3K of this movie. It seems to be the sort of thing (coming from what I've seen so far) that's begging for one.

And yeah; while I'm not as hyper of a fangirl as I used to be (if this was 2002 I'd be flipping out over this movie instead of being mildly nauseous), I understand being upset over these changes. While I don't know if its a fair comparision to use yet, what I've seen of this so far vaguely makes me recall what 4Kids did to One Piece.

Well, Michael J. Nelson and some of the other old MST3K guys have this thing now called Riff Trax, which are basically downloadable MST3K commentaries on current movies. Maybe they'll do one for this movie.

You know you really can't compare the "rape" of One Piece to this movie....right?

I'm only going by what I've seen and heard so far, which is basically what everyone else has. A trailer would change my mind.

If you want I can change it to read Cardcaptor Sakura? I went with One Piece because its more recent and its also a Shounen series.
