The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Majin Vegeta first appears in episode 228, and the Buu arc starts in episode 200 (195 if you include the Anoyoichi Budoukai). If this does have 40 episodes, then Majin Vegeta will be in it.

Well, episode 200 is the start of the Great Saiyaman saga. But doesn't FUNi usually clump in the Afterlife Tournament saga as part of Saiyaman, for some reason? Or will they be including that in Season 6 (which would make more sense, but I'm not sure of the episode count involved with that, either)?Herms wrote:Majin Vegeta first appears in episode 228, and the Buu arc starts in episode 200 (195 if you include the Anoyoichi Budoukai). Dragon Ball ended in 1997.

I meant episode 200 was the start of what you might call the "greater Buu arc" (Saiyaman, 25th TB, Babidi, Buu, fusion, Kid Buu). But either way, whether the Season 7 set starts at episode 195 (afterlife tournament) or 200 (Saiyaman), that's either 34 or 29 episodes until Majin Vegeta appears, so if there's 40 episodes in the set it'll easily get that far.

That's November.Forgotten Hero wrote:Looks right, it's probably Season Seven.
"11/11/2008," so December.
By the Japanese episode count, what is the first appearance of Ultimate Gohan?Herms wrote:I meant episode 200 was the start of what you might call the "greater Buu arc" (Saiyaman, 25th TB, Babidi, Buu, fusion, Kid Buu). The new cover looks awesome but the episode count is so wrong, not to mention there could be lots of complaints about it.
Season Seven will have 37, Season Eight will have 22 and Season Nine will have 38, lots would complain about Season Eight only having 22 episodes on it. I reckon that Babidi Saga should be on Eight instead of Seven.
Oh well, I'm still going to get the set.

If FUNi puts 22 episodes on season 8 they should at least put some decent extras on it. Make the sixth disc entirely an extra disc. They could put old TV promos and other commercials from over the years. However, this is FUNi. To them, trailers and textless songs consist of "decent" extras.DragoonClawNZ wrote:The new cover looks awesome but the episode count is so wrong, not to mention there could be lots of complaints about it.
