Does GT take place 5 or 10 years after Z?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Goku was 15 when he killed King Piccolo.

Is she older or younger than Pan.

GT had so many plot holes. I guess I'll go with five since it's official.

Oh and I apologize if this has been asked a million times. I was in a rush so I didn't take them time to scroll though the pages of posts. I'll be sure to do that next time.
Bra is younger than Pan. We see Pan in DBZ before Bra is born.

Kids go on dates and have boyfriends at the age of 10 ?

Interesting. If that's a Japanese-culture thing, consider me officially dumbfounded.
Why do people act like this is so shocking? When did you get your first crush, when you were 16? I mean, come on. I could have started dating at nine if the girl hadn't moved away. I've known multiple kids in that age range who have dated. Hell, dating was the 'in-thing' when I was in 5th grade and they were all 10/11 years old. Kids around here started dating around 4th grade (9/10 years old) and it was common place by 5th.

Noone I ever knew or talked to had girl/boyfriends at the age of ten. I thought that puberty was usually required to occur first.

What? Bra was also in DBZ, in the same episodes as Pan.

I always though Bra was 16 or something, according to the GT Perfect files and the Timeline, she's 9... fucking 9!
Pan should be 10 since she was born the year before Bra, but in GT she looks way younger than Bra. Maybe because Years are different between the anime and manga they'd be different ages.

People start hitting puberty anywhere from 7 to 13, usually. And it's not a requirement in the least. Plenty of people have an interest in boys/girls long before that. I never had the 'ew, girl cooties!' phase. I've thought girls were cute since pre-school.

But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

You're mistaken. They're both in the last three DBZ episodes, manga as well. From my point of view, Bra looks like she could be maybe a bit older than the 4-5 year old Pan. Akira Toriyama invented her, not Toei.

?

As far as I remember, puberty is a necessity in the attraction that occurs between a male and female.

Who hits puberty at 10?

I recall finding girls icky until 12 or so.

Bra was born a year after Pan.

When does that take place? If I remember correctly, in both the anime and manga, it skips right to the 28th tournament where Pan and Bra look like they're around 5 or 6. Did I miss something?

Based on what the timeline says, Bra is 4 at the end of Z and 9 in GT. So why is she almost as tall as Marron, 18, and Chichi in GT? Wasn't Trunks like half everyone's size when he was 8? D:

Lol sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but are you living on the same planet?

Love/Romance is a theme that's encouraged(for girls) by toys and media from even the earliest age. Think Disney, Barbie/Ken, baby dolls, or those freaky Bratz dolls.

Kids typically want to "fit in" and those are our guidelines. Doesn't matter if that kid is interested in it, it's what they feel they SHOULD like and what their peers/friends think they should like.

...and in Japan, a typical age for a shoujo heroine is 11(Cardcaptor Sakura, Tokyo Mew Mew) so it's not that strange I guess...

You didn't miss anything. I think Forgotten Hero just forgot that we see Bra during the 28th Tenkaichi Budoukai.

Yeah I'd did, was checking my manga a while ago. She doesn't really speak so that kind makes her forgettable on my part!
She isn't a forgotten hero dammit!!! lol
