This can't end well. I always just figured they were really high up in the atmosphere, kinda like in Movie 2. As for Vegeta and Nappa destroying Arlia, well, maybe their ship has some kind of protective barrier or force field or something? There really is no answer, you just have to use your imagination sometimes.

I know it's completely pointless, to try to apply actual science to fantasy, sure DBZ has a light smattering of sci-fi but it's mostly fantasy......For me it's kinda fun...It's like mental-cake. I'm not here to seriously argue, this sort of topic only turns sour, when people take contradictions to their speculations as being an insult to their intelligence.

...Yeah, we have all been saying it's plot-hole. Toriyama made bunch of errors in the show. Others are discussing that Boss rabbit died on the moon, via Roshi. Toriyama probably forgot about him like years or even months after that.

Ah ha, I've got it now! A explanation to end both the Boss Rabbit, Gotenks and Bardock dilemma. You see the DB universe works on "Looney tune physics." *Dramatic pause* Boss Rabbit died on the moon way before it was destroyed because, he realized there wasn't a atmosphere. Just like the Coyote can walk off a cliff as long as he keeps looking up. So in DB as long as you don't remember your limitations like the fact that you can't breathe in space you'll get away with them. Which is why SSJ Gotenks was able to survive. :p

Sometimes, mass has nothing to do with the size of an object. The point is, the higher the mass the greater the gravity. You can't change that whether it is science fiction or not. If gravity or any scientific word was not specified in the science fiction manga like dragon ball, then it is directly proportional to the real world.

It depends, dragon ball is 90% science fiction which means science is sometimes also applicable.

How do you make the assumption that an science in Dragonball is directly proportional to reality? You are just saying random stuff with no actual proof.

Learn to read please, I said if it wasn't specified then it is assumed constant because Dragon Ball is 80-90% SCIENCE-fiction not a bugs bunny or tom and jerry cartoons.
