Like mrkaizoku said, the thing about Tahble being Vegeta's brother is just that guy's random speculation. He doesn't have any more information than we do. Incidentally, on that same blog there's an entry on Viz's Daizenshuu 1 translation.

That other thing just looks like some fan fiction.

This special best be released out of DVD! It looks really good!
You know I have so much more anticipation for this than the Dragonball Live Action Movie. Wow.... I can't believe it!

Can someone properly translate what could be a "glimpse of story". The "translated" version is painful to read.

Basically, it's some fanfic that's got nothing to do with this special, other than the inclusion of Tahble. It's written in the form of episode summaries, going up to episode 74 or so. It's got SSJ3 Goku fighting "Joker" (possible the Joker from Batman), with everyone else cheering him on.

So many American fans would be running to the stores to buy it.

It seems like Toriyama is still fond of DB because the last I read from him, he didn't seem to want to revisit the series

I'm very confident that Funi will make a good effort to obtain the licenses, but 90% of the American fans won't know the differences between this special and all of the other movies they have gotten so far. To them this will be nothing special, especially with the season sets offering an episode per buck.

Yeah, I hope they get it and dub it with the same cast as the series. I hope to Kami that they don't get Bruce Almighty or Nathan Whatsiface to score it however...

true. I still haven't seen all the DBZ movies, but it would still be great if they obtained the rights to this special

You mean Bruce Faulcner or Mark Menza? It's likely that they will use one of the two (most likely Menza due to his larger resume and his popular work on the other movies). But there is a chance that they will give us an audio option of English dub with original BGM...but whether or not they do they will definitely also release a Japanese voices and BGM audio option.

September. I think its September 21st or 23rd? It airs on a bunch of different dates in different places after that and goes all the way into November.

Well, it has beem a few years, so maybe he just finally warmed up to the idea of doing some more DragonBall. Or maybe it's just because with this special, all he has to do is come up with the story, and leave all the hard work to others.

Actually there was another guy who did the last movies and the Season One and Two re-dubs. His name was Nathan somethingoranother.
