Oh I care, he's the character I've been thinking about the most. I think either Table is chasing him while Avo and Kado are chasing Table, or he is a Yardration and has used his techniques to bring Avo and Kado and Table to Goku so that Goku can take care of them since the Yardrations have good relations with Goku and know him to be a powerful and good guy.Dayspring wrote:So...I take it nobody else cares about the untalked about 4th character who is either a "DBO Yardrattian" or a Neko Majin space invader? Here I was thinking I found something awesome and new. ^_^;;

One question...is it Table or Tabule?
Plus, I hope this Table is not the son of Vegeta. Maybe a distant relative.
I'm spell it again: Vegeta+Table=Vegetable...Fits Vegeta's pun perfectly. It doesn't mean they are related, but defiantly Saiyajin brothers.

Gohan: "You're a Buddhist." Kuririn: "A hungry Buddhist!"
Vegeta is a pun on the word vegetable, but like all of the other puns it is based of off the Japanese pronunciation of the word, and I don't know if Vegetable is pronounced the same in Japan as it is here. So if in Japan Vegetable is indeed pronounced Vegetahble than the name Tabule makes more sense.Forgotten Hero wrote:One question...is it Table or Tabule?

You're still overreaching for no reason. We know both are puns on the word vegetable. "Vegeta" drops the ble while Table drops the vege. It's not "Vegeta-table," it's simply "vegetable." Vegeta drops the last two syllables of the Engrishy word, while Table drops the first two. That's why it's written as Table, but (probably) pronounced as "Tabaru."Forgotten Hero wrote:One question...is it Table or Tabule?

So in English, "veg-tuh-bull" gets shortened to "tuh-bull" for the pronounciation of Table, instead of the furniture-like "tay-bull."
...I merely refuse to say "tuh-bull."

That, and it looks like he's got that "I'm better than you because I'm royalty" look that Vegeta has been known to carry.SaiyaMel wrote:With a an name like that - I'm thinking he could be of royal blood. And he does look young.

True, but there's heavy implication on V Jump's part that Tabaru is somehow related to Vegeta himself (both in the appearance and the blurb). That's why so many think he's related to Vegeta. Be it clone, brother, or bastard son, if any of those outcomes are true, he is royalty.

Well, what I mean by that... Vegeta's name being part of the word vegetable - indicates his special place amongst all the Saiyans..mrkaizoku wrote:He doesn't have to be royalty. Tahble's name just fits the Saiyajin naming scheme is all.
I think Tahble is how I'm gonna romanize it, so I'm not thinking furniture.
Think I'll stick to calling him "Tahbul".
Just Saiyan...

I just thought of something. Is this supposed to be another "What-if?" movie like all of the other ones*? Or is this going to be a legitimate continuation of the series, possibly replacing DBGT? Forgive me for not reading the whole topic, but it's kind of long, so I apologize if this has been brought up before.
*With the possible exception of Bojack Unbound and Fusion Reborn, of course.

It's a continuation shortly after the Buu arc and possibly a leeway into Dragon Ball Online. Well I'd like to think that since Toriyama is heavily involved in both projects so it seems to make sense. Besides, the new enemies look a lot like the Yardrat designs Toriyama did for DBO. It's all speculation at this point.

We don't really know yet. I have a feeling Jump is being intentionally vague on just what role these new characters will play in the special. Though personally, I still hold to my theory that Abo and Kado are actually from Planet Metamor, and will fuse into the true enemy of the special...Abokado!
