I really can't see how anyone would actually mistake that for being real.

Hey all. I'm a n00b who was curious, since they are airing the special on Sunday or whatever, have they released an official trailer or anything? I've been looking, but haven't found a thing yet save for pics of Table, the fat aliens, Scarf-Saiyan Goku, and the poster! I hope this isn't a dumb inquery.

They aren't really "airing" the special... go back in thread to find out more.

Viz is offering a contest to go to Jump Festa the week of December 21st.

I'm greatly disappointed in them for not mentioning Dragon Ball or One Piece in under their examples of "amazing manga" though.

Of course they led off with their beloved Naruto, even though it doesn't even have a special at this year's Jump Festa.

I give them minor props for mentioning Slam Dunk though.

I can't wait til Dr. Slump finishes up or they finish releasing the Daizenshuu so I don't have to buy anything from Viz ever again.

Even though the special just aired a couple of hours ago, no trailer has been released; and if they havn't done it by now I'm sure they'll never make one. As for other things from the special, those pictures you have seen are about it...those and the 4 released character designs.

The Japanese Wikipedia page for DragonBall also says it's 35 minutes long. It also says that the special's theme song was done by Jealkb.

Wiki says Jealkb's a Visual Kei band. I'm getting a mental image of the gang dressed in Visual Kei style now. ^^;;

But with the series being so popular outside of Japan, I guess you can still hope that some gaijin stationed in Japan did just that...

I coudn't watch the movie but I already know the whole story of it. Someone who has watched the movie in Osaka today leaked it on the biggest forum in Japan, 2 channel. He said that it was not a serious story but like a comedy.

Well I do enjoy DB comedy, especially when Goku and Vegeta are involved. (Oh the worms X3 )
