But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

I think the only reason I was able to watch GT all the way through was because of the intrumental of "Dan Dan" that played over the recap and next episode preview.

I agree, but I loathed the title card music, it seems so out of place to me.

The title card is where the title of the episode is written out in text, it comes directly after the last episode recap.

Though I do hate the GT titlecard music, it sounds phenomenal next to Menza's incoherent bassy rumblings.

I second that.

Mark Menza is weak as hell. It's great that they are putting out an english version with the right music. His music would ruin the show for anyone. GT already had enough problems but his music is a deal breaker.
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

FUNimation should have kept Faulconer. Then it would be watchable.

Yes! I mean I know people don't think he is that great but like I said before if you had to choose between him and Mark Menza...

I agree. I know a lot of people don't like either types of music. But from my perspective, even if both soundtracks are "terrible", Faulconers is at least more energetic and entertaining.

Let this be an example of the fact that the vast majority of DB fans on the internet, including those on this board, are actually FUNimation-dub fans above and beyond original-Japanese fans, and that while they may not always have the best arguments and logical presentations of their opinions (I know, that's totally a generalization), they are indeed the majority.

I keep removing your avatar because each one you put up exceeds the maximum-allowed 80x80 pixel size. Please refer to the forum rules for a reminder on that, as well as some of our other rules (you're going to want to capitalize that "I" every so often ^_~).

Is it just me because I can't tell the difference between the two different scores. But Menza made GT feel like DBZ-lite to me.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

What...Menza just plays the same music again, and again, and again. No variation what so ever. Not to mention the rap for the opening theme which Faulconer was dead against.
