Vegeta is very proud of himself and his heritage, and he loves nothing more than proving this to everybody and everything. If Table really is a low level fighter with poor strength it would make sense that he would not be proud of this. After all if they have the same blood and share the same parents it would mean that the great Vegetaseii bloodline is tainted with some weakling blood.

Either that or perhaps Vegeta has disowned Table as being related to him, he does have the inability to show much affection and emotions, and perhaps the strain of him having a brother proved a weakness. (Getting in the way of his training and avenging Freeza.) If Freeza knew of Table surviving he would have probably killed him, so if not perhaps the Prince was protecting his younger sibling by staying quiet?

All this talk makes me need this special even more... It's breaking me.

Either way, rather than think Trunks is an imposter or impossibility, Vegeta would have assumed Trunks to be related to Tarble in some fashion.

@Victator Supreme: Maybe, but again YOU are ignoring the canon of the series in order to prove a single negligeable inconsistency of something that is non-canon! If what you define as a runt is true, than Goku should be even more of a runt than Tarble, for he was younger and weaker. Also, by your definition, the entire Saiyan Royal Family should be among the weakest saiyans since they're all short.

I say the planet Tarble was sent to had a rather cryptic but simplistic way to navigate to: "Third star on the right, straight on 'til morning."

There, problem solved. Now can we go back to being gleeful over getting Gotenks again? I can't wait to see that.

Clearly, he was castrated.

. Hence, no freaky alien intercourse, and no way Vegeta could suspect his offspring to show up. Oh, and no Saiyan puberty, and it's been sorta kinda shown that Saiyans don't grow like, at all until that point (See Goku's growth splert).

See? Castration is always the best sollution!

But yeah. Vegeta's brother's physical appearance is less of a plothole than Trunks' movie9 hair.

Yeah but Toriyama has said that he doesn't think about what's going to happen next, which is why there's no definitive answer to why Babidi didn't show up in Future Trunks' time. We can come up with theories all day, like there weren't any high powers beyond Gohan & Trunks, but in the end, that wasn't stated by Toriyama and is fanon. I think Toriyama even said that if he had known he was going to do a Buu saga at the time, he would've kept Future Trunks in.

You also have that error when he decided to change the story just for an interesting plot twist and have the androids Trunks feared be 17 & 18 besides previously stating that they were 19 & 20.

So Table showing up after Vegeta's comment doesn't really bother me at all, and just seems like one of those ideas Toriyama came up with after he'd already stated something entirely different.

It also makes the most sense. Most of the population is gone, Babidi shows up when there's only teenage Future Gohan around who can fight. Even if Gohan trained Trunks, he's be weaker than Chibi Trunks.

Right, and it's not like Gohan and Trunks would have had any reason to encounter Bibbidi and Dabra. I don't see Kaiôshin asking them to come to Boo's ship or anything.

Nobody said height dictated age or power. It was said he was a runt because he was puny and weak. He is simply a saiyan who looks young for his age. No other explanation is really neeeded. Anything ele is simply over thinking.
