Hmm... Oh Piccolo, you fail at being green...

And is that supposed to be the "young" Piccolo? If it is, so much for the hopes that he'll look better after he gets his wish...
If it isn't, he doesn't look all that old.

Really, it "sounds" just as I thought it would. The music is really dismissable, like it could go along with just about any action movie trailer.
Though, now I can add some bullshit about a "prophecy" to go along with the planets aligning, eclipses and a climactic volcano.

Also, Goku looks like a greaser without his uniform on. Thank God the bullies aren't wearing football jackets, I just couldn't take it...

I find it hilarious that it's looking like Yamcha's going to be this movie's "badass antihero" because Tenshinhan isn't in the film, Piccolo's still evil, and Vegeta wasn't in this arc. :lol:

OH I see it. that's an odd-looking gun. Almost like those stun-guns they use to temporarily paralyze people.

Oh good 'ol Stage6...the one who taught me that not all DBZ AMV's are made with crappy quality and Linkin Park music. I first saw and learned about the Doomrider AMV there of all places (I still have the exact file of it straight from that site) and saw my other current favorite DBZ AMV's there too. Too bad they couldn't afford the bandwidth! :wink:

To be fair, a lot of movies have stock music used in their trailers. Hell, Pirates of the Caribbeans trailer used "Vampire Hunters" from Bram Stoker's Dracula. I agree though, that music is kinda weak. If it IS from the film... meh. But it may well not be.

Seems odd that gathering magical artifacts and using a special phrase to summon a wish-granting dragon is golden... but an eclipse and we've gone too far?
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

That's just stuff that happens when you summon the Dragon. The sky getting dark isn't integral to the plot, which the eclipse is. Hell, it features not once, but twice in the trailer.

The trailer music is not for the film. Immediate Music is doing the trailer. But the awesome Brian Tyler is doing the actual film score.

Movies w/prophecies make me think of that Pkmn 2000 movie with its' "the world will turn to ash" stuff. :?

Yeah character cards do look silly to me. I cringed when I saw "Goku" come up. For a non fan it's like.. who the hell are these people anyway? Bulma... Yamcha bla ble bla. We know who they are cause we know the story but what about others.

There are other ways of exciting the crowds and you don't truly need those character names there. You can add more substance to the thing by actually showing some dialogue. Is that too hard. At least something giving people a bit more information, a few more lines. But then again I suppose this is a teaser trailer.

Is anyone else as disturbed by Bulma as I am. It just doesn't quite say Bulma to me. Wearing those clothes and with the high ponytails and totting guns and crap. Is this really our Bulma. Doesn't quiet seem that way to me for some reason, call me whatever but her overall look DOES seem a bit off. Her and Mai, they for some reason remind me of that whole powerrangerish vibe.

I know guys dig bulma as a "badass chick" but is she truly this character Emmy Rossum is portraying. I can't really feel that comfortable about it.
