Live-action movie trailer

A few things.

overlooking the explosions, doesn't that desert have that DB look?
Try to imagine, no explosions, Nappa and Vegeta to the side, while Gohan, Krillin and Piccolo wait for Goku while planning what to do if he doesn't arrive on time...

Also, I'm really liking the green Piccolo, hehe

I d'no about you, but usually when I say "It looks decent", it's usually followed by something along the lines of "But I think I'm looking for something better".

Um.. I am going to go see this because it's a movie based on Dragonball, you know, the whole reason we are here in the first place.
The only things I didn't like about this new trailer is some odd sound FX choices, and the character cards. Otherwise it looks cool. I know I will be seeing it opening day, and I am still looking forward to a full trailer, when, you know, we will see more about the actual movie.
Also, people who says this looks like MK:A or a Sci FI Channel movie, actually needs to watch one of those, because you are fucking bonkers.

Also, I forgot to mention that the scene when the guy flips and the other guy hand stands, that is Granpa Gohan flipping and Goku doing the hand stand.

Rewatched the trailer again...

Okay, we knew there would probably be emo traits, but sheesh... Bad enough we don't see any goofy, amused, or Goku-like 'curious' expressions in the trailer, and thinking we'll have to put up with this. I wonder if he'll be running in slow-mo at any point and ripping open a shirt to reveal the orange gi.

As if the movie wasn't ripping off enough outside-DB mediums, now we got a Heroes-style eclipse.

Well, I've got to say... there doesn't seem to be a lot of the Dragonball levity here...

Taking out things the animal folk and dinosaurs, and excluding more humorous characters like Kuririn, Oolong and Puar while at the same time neutering Roshi, turning a horny highschool girl who wanted the Dragonballs for a man into Agent Bulma, and making the bumbling, idiotic lacky Mai into "the Shape-shifting Fem Fatale" makes me wonder where they're going to pull their humor from.

I know you've been saying their Goku is going to be naive and carefree, but I haven't seen a single screenshot of Chat-ku with any facial expression other than a scowl.
