Actually, they’re supporting Hollywood. If they weren’t, they wouldn’t even bother putting them out. But people keep buying tickets, so they keep getting made. The substance of a film hardly makes any difference (except around Oscar Season); just how much revenue it takes in. They green light things that they think audiences will pay for. If people stopped paying for
[Parody] Movie, they’d (thankfully) disappear.
