Live-action movie trailer
Hey, I know some of you think I like everything about this movie, but if you want to know my true opinion we made a lil podcast. We are amateurs at podcasts obviously, but who cares, we know what we like and what we don't. http://dragonballmovieforum.com/showthread.php?t=898
The biggest thing about this trailer was that it was poorly made. The scenes were good, but the arrangement of the scenes were bad.

If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

He's Chat-ku. Senior. A bit anxious. Enjoys long walks on the beach with that special someone, and hanging out with his best friends trying to cram for that big algebra test on Friday.Chrono Trigger wrote:Well since the movie really isn't "Dragon Ball" I guess he can't be called "Goku" then can he?He's just some kid in High School that can fight really well and happens to be from outer space.

Well if they made a bad trailer I guess we can assume that the movie will be much better because logically... >_>JAPPO wrote:The biggest thing about this trailer was that it was poorly made. The scenes were good, but the arrangement of the scenes were bad.
Yeah instead of training and learning new techniques he's more worried about why it's taking Chi Chi so long to respond to his last text message.MisterFlashDude wrote:He's Chat-ku. Senior. I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.
If we're all here for a reason then I'm just visiting.
If it's held in your heart then you can't let go.

That doesn't make any sense. I've seen plenty of good movies that had horrible trailers.Chrono Trigger wrote:Well if they made a bad trailer I guess we can assume that the movie will be much better because logically... >_>JAPPO said: The biggest thing about this trailer was that it was poorly made. And like Craig said, these were made for an expo crowd, not a fan crowd. So we'll see better trailers.

Well we'll see on the 17th when Max Payne comes out. If they show the same trailer though, then it's a "done deal" for Dragon Ball the movie. In the worst way.JAPPO wrote: That doesn't make any sense. I've seen plenty of good movies that had horrible trailers.

Yeah because teasers made for expos, as we know, determine how good the movie is.Chrono Trigger wrote:Well we'll see on the 17th when Max Payne comes out. If they show the same trailer though, then it's a "done deal" for Dragon Ball the movie. In the worst way.JAPPO said :

Hey you said it. In the case of this particular movie though maybe... >_>JAPPO wrote: Yeah because teasers made for expos, as we know, determine how good the movie is.

Do you all reckon the producers and actors realize how outraged the fandom is? Like... I wonder if Chatwin realizes how bad a verbal beating he's getting across the net. Sometimes I feel kinda bad for the guy.
If you really think about it, if actors knew how much dissaproval the whole thing is earning they'd probably be struck with embarrasment. Poor people, didn't know what they were agreeing to.

Probably, but even really good comic book movies like Iron Man and The Dark Knight get based all over the place by fandom to some degree.MorningBreeze wrote:Do you all reckon the producers and actors realize how outraged the fandom is? The 'net is a bunch of whiny nerds who have nothing better to do with their time but complain about anything and everything (myself included). So, no, I don't think any of them care.MorningBreeze wrote:Do you all reckon the producers and actors realize how outraged the fandom is? Like... I'd take Comic Book Guy more seriously than this guy. That video would've been worth sitting through if he split his pants at the end.MajinVejitaXV wrote:Wow, Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons is real! O_O

Let's get this guy a punching bag or a girl or therapy or...some prescription medication... anything to help him with that horribly misdirected anger. It can't be healthy for someone that... robust... to be so angry.
As for his points, he's getting what he wants. *Shrug* Of course he's not upset-
er... scratch that...
He's not upset at the movie. He wanted an "original" story. He got it.
Those of us who wanted to see our favorite scenes come to life on the big scene are the ones who are "bitching".
Really, I'd be nicer to the fat guy but I can't stand people who think they're so righteous in their opinion that they're the only person who's point of view can possibly be correct and has to tell everyone else to keep their opinions to themselves.

It's a well established fact now that people here who dislike the live action movie are just bitching because they have nothing better to do. It doesn't matter how many well thought out posts are made that show their reasonings for their dislike, the pro movie crowd and their flawless argument of "You're all just a bunch of negative nancies!" will always be correct.JulieYBM wrote: Are you implying our opinions mean less because we are generally negative towards the heavy changes made to the characters and world?
