I'm interested in purchasing the singles, from Vegeta's arrival up to where Ginyu appears.
Basically, so I can get rid of my season sets, since I own the rest of the series in 4:3, so if for some reason the sale doesn't work out, send me a PM

I'd certainly buy all of these if I can rake in the money quick enough (hopes that job at the Waterfall pulls through

). My only question is, since I heard theirs a method to add the subtitles from the season sets to the DragonBoxes, can you do the same with these?
Let me know if the auction doesnt pull through, and i'll gladly fork over the cash (most likely one set at a time) to get them all.
I enjoy the Dragon Ball original AND Dub, even the VHS Fan-Sub's.

Yes there is, but... you have to degrade the video quality on some dvds.
Pony Canyon maxed out the bitrate on these dvds. Meaning, you can't remux a DVD with subtitles.

Uh...as a personal note, I've played with a good number of these DVD's, in terms of demux and remuxing them, and you can in fact add subtitles without degrading the video or audio.

We'll need to chat one of these days then

.
The whole adding subtitles deal is just an idea though, I may not even bother, and keep them raw. I already want to learn Japanese, owning these would just be a bigger reason to do so!

You can sub them easily if you plan on watching them on your PC. It's harder if you want to burn subs onto DVD's though, but it's possible.

I can ship worldwide. Just ask me for the cost, cause I can't get the ebay calculator to work for me... Which set are you looking at?
Anyway, I can ship via EMS or Air Mail. Air mail is cheaper, but will take longer. EMS is more expensive, but faster.
Oh yeah Priority mail is also available. Priority mail registered 21$ (cheaper if somene's in the European Union). I think this is option is the best one cost wise...

I may have asked this before but what the heck does "R2" stand for?

"Region 2". DVDs are divided up into different regions, and you need a DVD player from the matching region in order to play them (in theory anyway; there are ways to get around it). Japan is in Region 2, so an R2 DragonBall DVD is essentially the Japanese release.

Shame the Aussie dollar just dropped quite a bit compared to the US dollar, otherwise I would've snagged the first 6 at least. Tell me, did these come with special cards or something and if so, are they included?

I know what you mean, I'm glad I snapped up the US singles while we were kicking ass at 90 cents.
Oh well.

If I had a good job, I would definitely not even hesitate to buy all these from you, but as it stand I don't, and will soon be dropping around 700+ on a trip to Las Vegas in 2 weeks. It sucks being poor.

My new job is practically in the bag, so more then likely within 2-3 weeks I could start buying these from you.
And thanks for the extra pictures, those releases are damn sexy!
