Horaay for a new podcast! I'll have to listen to it later though, in as much as I should have gone to bed about four hours ago.

Awesome, it's been far too long. I will listen to it, and give my thoughts afterward.

Will download it and listen later. :3

I've been wondering when a new one would appear; but I thought it'd be rude of me to ask so I just decided to wait and figure it'll appear eventually.

Which it did!

Huurah~!

Wheee, new podcast episode! I woulda sworn that you guys would have used your honeymoon for a longer break. Eh, I guess the explosion of dragon ball news couldn't keep you guys away for too long.

Finished listening through it a while ago and the one thing I still remember was Mike referring to his own honeymoon as a con. Ah, you guys...

Great! A new episode! For some reason it felt like forever since the last time I heard one. I guess because in internet time a month can feel like 3 months. I'm glad you two had a great time on your "con". I've always wanted to go on a cruise. Nobody can say they wouldn't enjoy it. Especially a romantic one with your new husband or wife!

Realized I said "DragonBall DS" during the releases segment instead of "DragonBall Origins", as I was referring to the American release and not the Japanese release. Huh. Clearly that's the (logical) title that's been ingrained in my mind...!

Also, were we right about Vegeta and his named/notable attacks basically only being used the one time each in the series (minus the movies)? Forgot about the "Final Shine Attack" in DBGT while having the discussion, too...

Also, way back in this thread we talked about Vegeta and a possible "prototype" of the Final Flash. Nothing else I wanted to say about it, but figured I'd mention it.

While I know it's really minor and doesn't affect the game itself, I do hate how once again the American release of a DragonBall game is being marketed as just a prequel or introduction to Z. And of course it's especially annoying in this case, since the game already has a perfectly fine title for an American release.

I seem to recall that Vegeta uses the Final Flash against the Cell Juniors.

Yeah, on the topic of Vegeta only using his signature attacks just once, I'm pretty sure that's just for the manga. In random bits of filler used to add on to fight scenes in the anime, I remember him using Final Flash a couple times. As Herms said, he used it against the Cell Jrs and I'm pretty sure he did it again in the anime when he fought Goku during the Boo Saga. Though the latter example was a dub line. When I swapped to the Japanese audio, he just screamed, suggesting a generic blast.

I know this is probably way off point, but was the attack Vegeta used against Recoome Final Flash or was it just really similar?

In the above-linked thread, I put up three screen-shots of said attack, and there was a little discussion on it.

Since Toriyama makes such a point to name the "new" attack later on when Vegeta uses it on Cell, I have to imagine that what Vegeta used on Recoome was just another generic ki attack, but the motions may have indeed been a prototype for what would later develop into the actual Final Flash.

W00t! Awesome episode, guys and gals. Really glad to have you back, though I took the time to try and catch up on early episodes I never listened too. I'm pretty happy with all the ground I got to cover (Got to about episode 35 or so).
