Did you just open the browser by itself? When you download the "browser", you just click the "Watch this Anime" button in your browser of choice, which will then give you the option to open the file with the "Browser" which really isn't a browser at all. Hence the quotation marks.Captain Awesome wrote:I'm getting nothing but a white screen in the Jumpland browser, it's not attempting to do anything.
*sigh* Guess I'll have to wait then.

Yes, we did. Maybe that "GASP! SHOCK!" thingy was good enough for you, but they instantly forget about it like 2 seconds later.Smooth Criminal wrote:Did we watch the same special? Just wondering.JAPPO wrote:It was fun, I guess, but I felt cheated.
First of all, Vegeta's brother. What. The Fuck. Vegeta doesn't even act surprised, hell NO ONE does.
Also, his wife.... why? So master roshi could make a joke???
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.
I'd think after all these years. They've grown accustomed to shocking news.JAPPO wrote:Yes, we did. Maybe that "GASP! I've yet to finish, BUT "if a dinosaur were found melting in the ice". Nice subs TOEi.

At this rate sadly it seems hightly unlikely now that any of that can happen. Orginally when this special was first announced I'm sure some people were planning to film it and then torrent it for other fellow DBZ fans around the world.SSj Kaboom wrote:Damnit damnit damnit damnit!
WHY won't it work for me?! I'm tired of seeing everyone else commenting on how wonderful it was, when I can't seem to do anything to get it to play!
At this rate I'll just have to wait for a damn torrent.
But that was before they took into account that the amount of traffic which would cause the video to slow down to absolute nothing.
And now that it's premiered and it's been known to lag nearly all the time, it possibly will never happen as for someone uploading it on youtube they would need a lot of patiance but possibly give up after countless attempts of trying to even get the Opening to run at full spead atleast
So without any torrents or uploads on youtube you'll possibly have to wait till it's releaced legaly on DVD in Japan.
Or if you live in America like me, wait till Funimation licenses and releaces it on DVD in America and turns it from 4:3 into 16:9.

Yet another example of you posting absolutely asinine nonsense without researching a single item.PrincessVegeta wrote:Or if you live in America like me, wait till Funimation licenses and releaces it on DVD in America and turns it from 4:3 into 16:9.
The special is widescreen.

It is way too long to translate into English, so I am guessing the translator just decided to go with Viz's translation instead of leaving it as-is. I would have preferred Makankosappo myself.Gozar wrote:L-L-L-L-LIGHT OF DEATH!?!?!
I thought that was a ridiculous Viz alteration...Isn't "Demon" and "Spiraling" in the title?

Remember, that these subs believe that dinosaurs can melt in ice, so...
. Take 'em with a grain of salt.

What part in the special did that statement take place?bkev wrote:Remember, that these subs believe that dinosaurs can melt in ice, so.... Take 'em with a grain of salt.
Well not everyone understands Japanese and many of us do not have the time, energy or desire to learn.Gozar wrote:...They left "Kienzan" intact. =/

The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.
And Light of Death leaves out the most important part IMO..."Demon" (Ma). I say "Piercing Demon Cannon" would work well.Herms wrote:魔貫光殺砲=demon-pierce-light-kill-cannon.Gozar wrote:L-L-L-L-LIGHT OF DEATH!?!?!

Well then either translate them all or leave them all intact. Don't pick and choose, ya know?Saiyan-Professor wrote:Well not everyone understands Japanese and many of us do not have the time, energy or desire to learn.
All in all, it's a fine sub. Nothing too damaging, no major typo's. This is better than a lot of fansubs, and ENGLISH-SPEAKERS GOT IT LEGALLY THE SAME DAY AS JAPANESE. I just don't understand what more we could ask for (other than it streaming better for the masses, obviously). I mean, if this is the quality of sub that the upcoming "week after" Naruto episodes are going to get, fans should be elated.
Fansubbers and U.S. otaku have been BEGGING for legal subtitles in a reasonable time frame for years. Finally we're getting what we want. I'm not saying we can't offer more critique, but be sure to add a giant "THANK YOU" with your commentary.

Look in the opening sequence for that (the part with the ice). As for not understanding Japanese, that doesn't really matter for these attack names since there is often no "right" way to translate them. It's best to just leave the attack names in Japanese. They are recognized internationally by their Japanese names and even the Viz manga translations leave them as-is, with the only exception being Makankosappo.Saiyan-Professor wrote:bkev wrote:Remember, that these subs believe that dinosaurs can melt in ice, so....
