The way I see it is, if you're fighting to save the world, it matters less about where your power came from and more about how/why you use it.
And I'd also complained about how they had to murder an entire world and all its life to get that power.
Oh yeah, didn't think of that.

I agree. It should be interesting to see if and how Uub returns the favor.

I do not mind giving extra power to people that deserve it, the Z-Senshi worked their ass off and gave up their lives to protect the planet on a number of occasions. Son Gohan receiving that Ultimate power-up was something that was not deserved at all. He was lazier than Yamcha. After Son Gohan gets it, he screws up so Kakarrot and Vegeta has to save the day anyway. If Toriyama wanted someone to screw up and be cannon fodder, all he had to do was stick to his original formula. Give Vegeta Super Saiyan 3 and make him look like a fool for some strange reason and then have Kakarrot defeat Chibi-Buu.
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.

What!? Can you explain that in different words because you confused me.

I am speaking of what I call the “Toriyama Vegeta Formula”. First, you take Vegeta and put him through some sort of torturous training which makes him super strong (this instance that would be Super Saiyan 3). Vegeta would fight the villain and when you think that Vegeta could almost win, Toriyama has him do something ridiculous just so he could lose. Then Toriyama would have Kakarrot (Idiot #1) or Son Gohan (Idiot #2) come in and defeat the bad guy.

I have to get get this off my chest: your attitude is gratuitous.

The Boo arc is obviously riddled with some weaker writing but to call Gokû and his sons 'idiots' is just silly and shows unhealthy signs of obsession. It's a cartoon, must you use such hateful phraseology?

I like how Goku and Gohan are idiots, but Vegeta's stupidity is entirely the artist's fault.

Probably because Goku and Gohan were consistently portrayed as rivaling a sponge for mental facilities (Goku at least is literally brain-damaged/idiot-savant), but Vegeta is portrayed as a fairly sharp cookie everywhere except when he's in a position to be the hero.

It's like they're total opposites. Goku only seems to do anything smart when it's time to be the hero.

Although Vegeta at least came up with the plan that beat Buu.

Hey, I am being just as silly as all those Vegeta haters and Son Gohan lovers. When the next conversation comes around about Vegeta and they all begin to call Vegeta an “asshole”, “prick” etc. I would love for you repeat those exact same words.

I don't see much of them around here. So please tune it down a bit, ok?
You are not being much better than them when describing characters like that.
You are actually telling such people that it's ok to do so.
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

I understand what you are saying but all I ask is that you and others repeat those same words when the Vegeta is an “asshole” or Broli "sucks", he is a "retard" and “only 12-year olds like him” stuff goes flying around.

They put up two new pages a week, one on Wednesday and the other on Sunday.

Am I the only one who thought that what Super Buu was saying in (I think it was) the second to last panel didn't make much sense?

The guys making the comic are French, so that happens a lot.
