Besides, the post you quoted me on, I was just being honest. There's been no proof anywhere, and even some to the contrary, that FUNi can't/couldn't get the DragonBox masters. Is there a problem with answering someone's question that I wasn't aware of?

Indeed. If Funimation has the type of pull to make a deal with Geneon, take 30 titles from ADV,and get 10 licenses by the end of this year....they have the pull necessary to get the Dragonboxes. They just don't want them IMO.
Actually, the quote was wrong. Because there you didn't bash anything. It was actually another reply in the thread. My mistake.

I agree with you, Raki. If FUNi can make a killing off these shoddily put together sets and their inevitable Blu-ray re-releases why go the extra mile to get Dragon Box footage?

That's probably it right there. They don't need to. If they're already making a killing, then there's no need to go the extra mile.

If the future of Dragonball depended on it, yes they would license it. But if they can keep doing the same old shit and "save money" to spend on series that draw shit at stores, they will do it. (Not to knock series that are good but don't sell well at stores)
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.
