I don't listen to metal, I usually end up tuning out during the screaming and growling, but I actually really enjoyed this, it made me want to go watch the Namek stuff again.

That was awesome. I'm definitely keeping my eye on this band.

No, isn't it obvious from the context of the rest of this thread that it is hot and heavy gay porn?
About Freeza no less. Those sexy pink arms... :P

I actually noticed this thread from the beginning but I had no idea who/what Maximum the Hormone was and I just immediately clicked the link to Youtube without reading the rest of the posts and when I saw Asahara Shōkō and heard a lot of metal gibberish (sorry I'm not so much into metal) I clicked it away thinking it was some bad AMV. After listening to the podcast I now know what's going on and I have to say that the ''Freeeeza Freeeza'' part was awesome but I didn't feel much for the rest. Still, it's cool to know such a song exists.

In a way, that was like the best AMV ever.

What the hell was all that 'poawa' stuff?

And yes, lol@bush with scouter.

Wow cool music :) Inspires me to try harder....of course half of it is I rarely use vocals. Though I did do something kinda similar musically in the second half of this track:

I'm not really into copyright violations and such so no AMV type stuff...just cheap text XD...sorry about the bad video.

Btw, prob a better place to get the song this thread is about:

On their MySpace page the song is called "F"

Where can I get a CD with this song?
- Amazon Japan
- CDJapan

Mentioned it on the podcast before, but CDJapan has a free ¥500 coupon they're giving out, but it's for orders of ¥3000 or more. This CD single's only ~¥1100 so it doesn't help much, but if you're going to make an order, you're better off ordering in bulk to make the shipping a little more worthwhile... in which case the ¥500 coupon would be a good deal.

The inside booklet of the CD has an image of Freeza's hoverchair, and then another with Planet Namek... :D
I think I'm goin to order this CD after my Dissection CD comes in. I was suprised that this was actually an awesome metal song, I thought it would be awesome but not as heavy as it was which is a great added bonus for a metalhead like me. :D

For the record, Maximum the Hormone goes all over the fucking place with their transitions between genre-nods in their songs and on their albums. There's a very heavy emphasis on... well... HEAVY music (very hard rock / metal roots), but they don't shy away from ska breakdowns, bubblegum pop choruses, clap-alongs, gang vocals, etc.

I actually first found about about this a week or two ago in TeamFourStar's favorites, and at first didn't know what to think about it. It wasn't until I realized that this was the video that Mike was talking about in the latest episode of the podcast that I decided to watch it again.

It's strange how you can see something and not like it, but when someone prominent says it's cool, your mind is hacked...

This is the greatest song of all time.

Well, not really, but holy crap it's fucking awesome. The MAD video posted in the first post only makes it better.

I'm not a fan of scream-heavy metal music, but for some reason since these guys did the Death Note second OP/ED I found the songs oddly addictive given I typically dislike that type of music. Then a few months ago one of my friends got a couple of us addicted to their absurdly catchy song Chu Chu Lovely...and now this?

I think I've unconsciously taken a liking to this band and I don't know why. I think it's just that...they're very catchy.

Also, Bush + scouter, I lol'd.

I finally listened to this song, and I have to say, it's sort of cool. It's all over place in what genre it wants to be. I am not really into screaming metal, but this was alright, the subject matter made it better for me. If this song wasn't about Dragonball though, I would never listen to it.
