I wonder if it's the one that's supposed to play like Sparking. The one that was reported on from the One Piece fan from the Jump Festa.

Yes, it was later confirmed that it was indeed the game based on the live-action movie that Greg mentioned being shown.

Hey, if I preorder an item along with several items they have in stock, will they hold them until all items are in stock, and charge me the cost of all of them only at the end (if I use credit card?)

Because I'd kind of like to use it as a way of postponing my payment. :P

I wonder who will be the publisher (in Europe and USA)? Atari? Namco Bandai? Foy Interactive?!

I'm wondering why we've not even seen a fruitin' screenshot, despite its release being a few scant months away.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

If the typical pattern for recent DragonBall games applies to this as well, it shouldn't be too long. I'm itching to see them, too.

In terms of keeping stuff under wraps concerning this movie (and the game based off of it) they've done a pretty decent job.
On hiatus.

Very true. Hell, if it weren't for JAPPO, I'm positive we'd still be left in the dark for the most part concerning the film.

It'll be interesting if this does play like Sparking!, since from the looks of it there's little if any flight in the live-action movie, while flight is pretty prominent in the Sparking! games, to the point where I'm not sure what a flight-less Sparking! would be like.

But here's hoping at least for a game where you can finally play as Bulma! Oh wait, wasn't she actually playable in DB DS? OK, never mind then.

The closest I've played to a flight-less Sparking! would probably be War of the Monsters, an old PS2 game. You still roam around fairly big arenas freely in 3D, smashing objects and buildings apart as you fight. Your special attacks are also usually an area attack that knocks away nearby enemies and a long-range projectile attack.

...Or you could just use a character in Sparking! that doesn't fly. I think the first and/or second game had characters that didn't fly, or even float slowly to the ground. But it's been a while since I played those, so I'm not sure.

I'd be surprised if this movie game were a Sparking!-like fighting game. I wonder if the movie cast would be big enough to make up a fighting game roster. I think the movie game might be more of a third-person action/beat-em-up thing, which probably wouldn't look too different from a Sparking!-like game anyway if you're just going by a little bit of footage shown.

Oh man, I loved WOtM. I still have the poster that came with the game on my wall. One of the most under-rated budget games ever. Right next to Red Dead Revolver.

I hope there is a lot of fighting in the movie. That's one of it's only redeeming qualities in my mind.

Is this really par for the course? I haven't really been following anything DBZ related very closely for the past year or so, but I seem to recall screenshots trickling in for games like Sparking! METEOR, DragonBall DS, and DragonBall Z Story months and months in advance. Infinite World was the only one that kind of snuck up on us.

Oh man... my brother literally just bought WotM, and when I was at his house today, I noted its similarity to both the Sparking! series and Atari's Godzilla games.

EDIT: Here they are! First screens... http://psp.ign.com/articles/946/946204p1.html
