Well, since you asked...

1 - Blatent insult to the intelligence of the target audience, and a disregard for the integrity of the source. (I care more about the first one, personally. XD)
2 - The fanbase is divided, resulting in ... well, see Youtube comments.

3 - Usually, these sorts of changes serve to support people that put down the series and its fans. Hence, someone mentions the word 'Saiyan' at a meeting of anime-and-rpg-and-Etc nerds, and the whole room groans, and then we get the internet "elitist" and "true fan" bullcrap. Stigma.
Oh, and my japanese isn't quite good eough to understand the anime any more than the dub. (Oh, so I take that back... I did catch things in movies 10 and 13 that were lost in the dub... but only bits and pieces.).

S'yeah. Maybe I should get the bricks afterall.

They're relatively cheap where I am, I've never owned the whole series on DVD and the subtitles are awesome. And the widescreen thing doesn't stop me enjoying the show. Those are my reasons.

The dub line may have been unnecessary, but it could have definitely been worse.

Bulma is always going on about her beauty, so at least asking for a foot rub doesn't conflict with her character. Maybe she can force Oolong or Puar to transform into an electric foot massager if she really wants her feet pampered that badly. And there's always Roshi. ;D

No...it really couldn't have...and no she isn't. She mentions her beauty a little in Dragonball but that's about it.

I find the dub stupid, but I'm glad it exists, because it started me on Dragon Ball, as it did many people here.
