[Oozaru the Big Monkey Piece!]
Haha that makes me giggle >_<
So you have to buy about 7 to have an Oozaru figure?

Probably. That's how they did Shenlong and Parunga in the other sets, isn't it?

Guess so. It's just a way they can make more money I suppose.

Looks like Bandai Germany is the first site with images, that's where I found them:
4" Figures
6" Figures
If this was old news, I am very very sorry.

It most certainly is not old news, it's brand-new and it's awesome.
I'd assume the li'l boxes there means the 4-inch figures come with the Oozaru pieces AND the DragonBalls? Sweet. Also, is that finally a good look at Goku's boots I see?

Interesting. Really curious as to how the final rendition of the Oozaru will look like.

Is the blond one Yamcha or the Tito (whatever his name is)?
And is the armor clad one Tambourine?

The blonde one is Yamcha, and the demony-looking one is a Ful Lum Assassin, one of Piccolo's monster spawns.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
[/juvenile]
It's Yamcha.
Really, giving a character who has only one line in the Qur'an a figure...?
Innagadadavida wrote:And is the armor clad one Tambourine?
While I think we'd like it tp be Tambourine, it's just "Generic Piccolo Offspring/Henchman #14".

Why am I just now learning this?

Blond Yamcha somehow seems even more ridiculous than Brunette Bulma.
But there are bigger issues I have with this movie than aesthetic-related stuff.

Thank you for the images!

I don't know about those... they could have been a lot worse though.
I'm not saying this against the movie, since it's extremely rare you see good figurines of real people.
I think the ones I would consider getting are Chatwin Goku and Marsters Piccolo.
But as always, I question whether they would actually belong with my Dragon Ball collection.

I have to say the "kung-fu-action" ones don't really appeal to me, but I'm definitely gonna get all the 4" ones. Can't wait to assemble Oozaru Goku. There's also supposed to be higher-quality ones too, right?

I'm still holding out hope for figurines of the regular character with movie outfits. That would be great.

Yamcha is overly blonded by the merchandising people. It's brown with blond streaks.

Probably because unlike Bulma, Yamcha's hair in the anime/manga isn't an unrealistic color, so there's no reason to change it.

Movie hate notwithstanding, those look really bad.
I had no idea Yamcha was blond!

The only one I'll buy is maybe Piccolo.
I dislike the rest.
