Just...Not...Good. I've never liked Action Figure renditions of Live Action Movie characters. Now that it's here with DragonBall...Uhg.

I agree, they do give off that "Uncanny Valley" feel. @_@

Not as creepy as say, the "High School Musical" dolls, but close.
On hiatus.

Not interested in the figures, but the Nyoibo might be fun...

These look terrible. Under-articulated (what's the use of a swivel thigh if the figure has a t-crotch joint...?) and plain looking sculpts...its like as if these were supposed to be made in 1995.

Ah well, now I'm going to have to pick up the four-inch Kame gi Chatku so all the other Goku figures I have can point and laugh at him. (Complete with pictures. :P)

It most certainly is not old news, it's brand-new and it's awesome.
Cool, I found something new! :D

Is that where you found them?
Yes, that's the site.

Wow.

These look beyond awful, and it frankly scares me to see them, the movie is creeping up way too fast.

They look pretty awful to me! I plan on getting maybe one, but I wont be collecting these. I'm expecting to eventually get samples of these from Bandai, but not until March for sure.

We should presumably have a lot more pictures of these coming after Toy Fair in New York this month, I know that the company that owns my site will be covering it, so as soon as I have pictures I'll be sure to post em up!

All the best,

They look like pretty standard movie toys to me. Anyone else notice the blue no detail Oozaru figure. I am assuming that isn't the finished figure.

Seriously...I hope that's not what the final product looks like?

They could actually look worse than that. These are promotional shots and usually the actual toys look worse due to not having as detailed paint applications, etc.

So yeah, I'd say these are gonna be terrible.

They actually look very similar to Hasbro's new Indiana Jones 4 inch figures.

I'm waiting for the $100 Enterbay toys, not the $10 Bandai toys. Bandai sucks!

I'm telling you, something tells me that Goku's a reused mold of SOMETHING... just don't know what/
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
