Wow, was this really necessary? Trying thinking objectively once in a while--it really opens your mind up to fairer concepts.
I'm not trying to turn this thread into a flamewar. Can we please move on with actual discussion of the subject at hand here? I shouldn't be the subject of ridicule for being devil's advocate once in a while.

That's like me going "OH MAN I HATE KILLING JEWS, well I'm off to join the Nazi's." If someone tells me that's a stupid sentiment I can't just shrug and go "WELL THATS JUST UR OPINION MAN!"
But it
is just their opinion! You just don't agree with it, which is why you're so adverse to it.
"Right" and "wrong" are subjectively defined, so it's kind of messed up to try and say that someone's opinion is "wrong" and that they're not allowed to have it. I'm not going to delve into further examples, but for example I could be a wild supporter of piracy and claim that your statement is "wrong" because I and a bunch of friends pirate stuff all the time and you're wrong for
not pirating.
This is why opinions are separate from facts--one is a belief and one is absolutely and cannot be disputed. I understand disagreeing with her opinion, but that doesn't mean he's not entitled to it. That's the core point I'm trying to make here.
But... bleh, like I said, veering off topic. ffffffff
