The story will be developed speedily!
"Kai" starts from the invasion of the Saiyans. This version will be re-edited to hew more closely to Akira Toriyama's original story, so the story's development will progress all the faster!
So much for Dragon Small Z. I'll still be around to fix what people don't like, because no matter what they do they'll never satisfy everyone. If there is still filler in the show people will complain, if there is no filler people will complain, and if it is still too slow people will complain. I won't be able to satisfy everyone, but if I can satisfy a few then I did my job. Also it is interesting it is called Dragon Ball Kai, because my name is Khalid, and if you remove every other letter what is left is Khalid So maybe I'll call my edits Dragon Small Khalid, maybe, maybe not, perhaps I'll keep it Dragon Small Z.

Haha, I'm sorry, my wording made it look that way. I just find it odd how the new DB DS game title was changed. It could be possible for a lot more future products to have the Kai title. I was just wondering about that.

The B has "battle" written on it in katakana. Next to the B is the kanji for "awakening" (kakusei).

The opening and ending songs will together be made anew! Furthermore, in "Kai", the background music will be newly recorded. Let's enjoy "Kai", where even the music has been powered up!!
Hmm, so updated versions of old BGM? Thats awesome. I really hope we get some kind of DragonBall Kai BGM album. :D

Then it will pretty much sound like the music in the Jump! special, right? It sounded complete DBZ, but new. Crazy.

Correct me if I am wrong Herms, but the translation says, "Dragonball legend new 1-page". I wonder what that means.

At the bottom the of the page, it goes the following:
Kenkiku Kanshu/Toriyama Akira Kikuga/Ooishinaho[whatever that Katakana means]. So Toriyama is involved in the special.

Goku looks crazy with his eyes like this :D

Now, a manga based on the Jump Festa... NOT an Ani-Manga... right?

Drawn by someone other than Toriyama... Let's hope this new guy is as good as him

----------------

As for the new openings and endings, any hope for new stuff by Hironobu Kageyama? if not... It'll be like Digimon without Kouji Wada.

I'm pretty sure that's the mangaka, Ooishi Naho.

They did that once, and it didn't really work for me.
They brought him back, though. =)

Here's the list of attacks from that screenshot of Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo fighting some giant worm/snake things: Combination, Meteo Combination, Kamehameha, Rapid-Fire Energy Blast, and what I think says Zanzou-ken/Afterimage Attack (it's pretty blurry, but I think that's it). These moves consume points, and these points are connected with "anger" (either they match up with anger, or are found in anger, or something).

Well it just says:
the background music will be newly recorded
Iam pretty sure that means it'll be the old BGM just updated. I could be wrong. I probley will end up being wrong though, but thats how I'am taking that little statement.

Yup, just re-read some previous posts. The fact it was in Katakana threw me off. Thanks B.

As for newly done openings, I am hoping for Hironobu Kagayama. He's done a lot of stuff for the games, so I don't see why they can't.

I'm hoping for brand new songs, but still done by Kageyama.
But I'm doubting it for some reason.

Probably that the special and/or its manga version is "a new page in the legend of DragonBall".

Ah. I probably shouldn't be so literal. Thanks for that.

Which was Savers, until they broke tradition, and brought Wada back with a second op. That is true, Kageyama is to Z as Wada is to Digimon. But, will they feel the same and try to make Kai that much more different? Or, maybe we'll get remade songs. Or, maybe Kageyama will redo some of his game openings for songs. Maybe end with Dragon Ball Party.

Still, I'm looking forward to it. Does anyone know if any of the bigwigs at Funi know about it? I imagine they'd love a solid chance to release new DBZ in the form of DB:Kai, as they're mostly finished with their sets. It's like a gift from Heaven to them >_>. And, seeing as Toei is redubbing...maybe we can get that dream, accurate redubbing that the series needs *unless they get wickedly lazy* That and a dub of the Detective Conan vs Lupin the 3rd TV Special coming out this year is what I want from Funi.

I really, really hope "Dragonball Kai" won't replace the name DBZ for future video games etc.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

I hope it does. Goodbye "Zee".
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.
