Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Timeline wrote:Age 774 May 7th - The 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai is held. Goku is granted one day on Earth to fight in the Budoukai. Majin Buu awakes on Earth. Vegeta explodes himself to save the Earth. Buu kills Babidi. After turning Super Saiyan 3, Goku is forced to go to the after life a little earlier. Gohan broke the sword and let out Rou Kaioshin. Rou Kaioshin begins Gohan's power up to Mystic Gohan.
Age 774 May 8th - Buu absorbs Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo. Buu just about kills everyone on Earth. Rou Kaioshin gives his life so Goku can be alive again.Vegeta goes back to Earth with the help of Uranai Baba. Buu destroys the Earth. Porunga brings back the Earth. Vegeta comes back to life when all the good people are restored for the population of Earth.Goku kills Buu with a Super Genki Dama.
When did nightfall ever occur for a new day to begin? Judging by what's said up there, the period where it would become May 8th is during Gotenks VS Buu. Sure, they're in the RoSaT for awhile, but time moves SLOWER there. It wouldn't(well, this is Dragon Ball, "shouldn't" is the word) be the next morning when Gotenks, Buu, and Piccolo left the room via screaming.
General DB inconsistency we're just supposed to go "eh" at, or can this be explained?

The Tenkaichi Budoukai is held on May 7th, and Buu is revived that day. Craziness ensures, Buu kills Babidi and begins destroying stuff at random, and Goku returns to the afterlife and reunites with Gohan. Goku is stated to return to the afterlife earlier than he should have, and he was only supposed to be there for a single day, so everything up until he reunites with Gohan was less than a day.
After Goku reunites with Gohan, the narrator says that a day passes, during which time Majin Buu has already destroyed 2/3rds of the Earth. That's when everything else happens: Goten and Trunks perfect Fusion, Satan befriends Buu, Bee gets shot, Buu transforms and fights Gotenks, Gohan, Vegetto, and then finally gets wiped out by the Genki-Dama.
edit: Actually, looking into it a little more, Elder Kaioshin's power-up is supposed to take a total of 25 hours. So it should be on the 9th that Gotenks fights Buu and Buu is eventually destroyed--one day for Gohan to train with the Z Sword after Goku comes there, and another day as the Elder Kaioshin draws out his power.

Aw, yeah. There was a scene of a ruined city in the middle of the night during the rain right before Satan comes out of his training hole or whatever.
Was that in the manga?

Wow that is new, I like it.

The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.

Underground personal training facility. That's a better term.
