The power of 17 and 18

How big is the difference in power between them?

I heard people saying that on one page of the manga 18 was said to have her power "suppressed" when comparing her to 17.But then again in the manga 16 makes them seem equal with his quote about Piccolo rivaling both of them in power.

I am no expert on this, but I believe that 17 is the stronger of the two, but by how much I am not sure. Vegeta could keep up with 18 but the fact she didn't get tired made her impossible for Vegeta to defeat at the time, Once Piccolo and Kami merge Piccolo is Equal with 17.

Chapter 367's title page (the android explanation page) does say that No.18 isn't as strong as No.17. No.16's statement does seem to show that the two are in the same general league of strength, though.

I don't think the gap in power between the two is significant. Like Herms said, they're probably the same league. It's like saying Trunks is stronger than Goten, which is true, but except for fusion it wasn't worth mentioning.

Yeah I think Piccolo had the same problem with #17 that Vegeta had with #18, the only difference being that there was a bit of a gap between Vegeta and 18's powers.

Piccolo would have eventually been worn down and beaten, probably.

With her stamina or without it, he still wouldn't be abel to defeat her.His attacks couldn't hurt her and his Bing Bang didn't even budge her.

What's wrong with #16's comment? If Piccolo is capable of rivaling #17, and #18 is weaker than #17, logically he should be capable of rivaling her as well. If A=B and B>C, why should C>A?

The difference is odd. I don't think it's really significant, but sometimes the attitude from #17 seems to imply he's much stronger then her.

I think the difference is enough for him to win a battle against her without much difficulty, though.

I'd imagine it would be a more drawn out battle, like Goten vs Trunks.

#17 was just over the top cocky while #16 and #18 were not.He thought the whole time that he is the strongest fighter on earth while #16 was stronger then him.If #16 can put them in the same range of power then they had to be there somewhere close

16 said Piccolo's power rivaled the both of them, implying that they are in the same league of power, being equal. But I think 17 is a bit stronger.
