Oh man, it's the DBE episode of the podcast! Glad to know you guys survived talking about it without too many problems.
Hunting down the video through the magic that is
YouTube, I can see just exactly what you guys were talking about with the whole erm... bondage thing. The song itself I actually like, though I dunno if I'd go as far as say that it would be that long lasting for me. As for the video itself, I agree that it was kinda weird that there weren't any clips from the movie like with other music videos in connection with movies. At best, it was loosely connected to DBE with stuff like the energy blasts near the end. Really, though, it's not like previous music/movie videos were barely in connection with the movie itself. Aaliyah's
"Are You That Somebody" comes to mind. Without the movie clips, I doubt anyone would've thought it was in connection with Dr. Dolittle.
Woah, spoilers galore for the thoughts on the movie... not like I mind, or anything. Based on what's been said in the episode, it seems like the general consensus is that the movie falls in the whole "so bad you have to enjoy it" category, which I don't mind at all. I'm somewhat disappointed to find that Mai's role isn't even explained and that other languages are used at random. Other than that, though, it sounds like it lived up to my not so high expectations. Totally gonna check it out once it's out in the states.
As for the hint of a sequel at the end of the credits, I'm gonna guess that there's some kind of hint at either Vegeta or Freeza.
