I scanned them for you cannot buy and read the V-Jump.
They released only first half of the entire story this time, so the next half will be released in the end of April.

I'm downloading, what does it contain exactly?
EDIT: Nevermind, lol. Thanks.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

It's the manga version of the Jump Special.
The artwork is quite a good imitation of Mr Toriyama's style. Not exactly the same, you can tell he didn't draw it I think, but it's not bad.

It's like a storyboard, only super-high-quality. X3 (And with a few minor differences. )
I notice Tabaru looks a lot more like his brother in this one than he does in the animated special. ^^;
Anyways, loved it! Can't wait to see the next one.
EDIT: Just realized, Tenshinhan and Chaotzu are in this version! X3 Nice to see them not forgotten.

AHHH!
I have only glanced at this yet, but I didn't notice them! They must have just not been in the anime out of respect for Suzuoki.

So, I read it.
And I must say, I do like the semi-new style that the manga was drawn in. It matched the new style that the Anime Special was animated in. I am very much looking forward to the next part. Thanks, man!
Also, is it just me, or is the raddish scene completly gone? (Oh, and I think I like Table's design better in the special)

It's be cool if the artist continued adapting the movies in his own way... I'd sure as hell buy em.

So it has a message from Toriyama and Ooishi Naho at the front. Toriyama says that Ooishi understands DragonBall very well, and that she knows about 1000 times more about DragonBall than he does, him having forgotten most of DB’s story and all. He thinks that due to her manga skills, this adaptation is better than the original short. He also says that since he’s probably not going to draw any more DB manga himself, this is the only place you’ll see anything new.
Ooishi says that she’s loved DragonBall since she was a child, and getting to draw it herself was like a dream. Being able to show Toriyama her storyboards and get his advice made her due her very best drawing this manga.

As always, that's pretty accurate translation.

I have no idea what you are saying. But I downloaded the file(s), it's a fan manga about the Jump Anime Special?

No it's not, it's a manga drawn by an artist who knows Toriyama and is able to draw like him. This person drew a manga based on the Special.

I noticed that Elder Kaioshin doesn't have a halo above his head, like he did in the special, so that's one mistake they fixed for this. I didn't like that they took out the radish-pulling scene, since what's the point of showing Goku and Chi Chi planting them earlier if they're not going to figure in later?
Dialogue seems to be taken straight from the special, though I think I noticed one absurdly minor change. When Goku asks Tarble if Abo and Kado are strong, in the anime special, if I remember right, he says they're chou tsuyoi/"super strong", while here he says mechakucha tsuyoi/"absurdly strong". Don't ask me why or how I remembered that one line in particular, but that's the only dialogue change I noticed, apart from stuff that got left out.
