Because of a mold error all copies of the last double features on Blu-Ray will be in a lime green case

Easily replaced with an extra blue case. Try finding a replacement for that steel book.

The company that creates the steel books for Funimation sells them to individuals, so, you could scan in the last double features cover art and create your own.

There ya go. Looking at a listed size prior to release by a few months is just plain stupid.
Well there's no need to be rude about it. I was more or less saying take it for whats its worth because it was walmart. And feeling stupid about it was the fact it was walmart.
Dumbass.
Again, Daizex members to rescue.
That was far ruder than his response.
His logic of insulting me when I did nothing other than AGREE with his own statement about himself isn't much better, nor randomly insulting everyone else.
Again, Daizex members to rescue.
Sorta insulting himself again. Since it's a hit against his imagination of Daizex members being rude and or dumb, he is sorta insulting his original statement again, where he tried to jump in and 'rescue' everyone's worries about the set.
Poor poor man, feeling so negative about himself. It almost makes me feel depressed about the state of the world... Then I remember his original statement about HIM being stupid and read his sig, and it makes me smile, for I am helping the world, by stomping out stupidity.

Pretty much exactly the same, I picked up the first three for $17 each not too long ago.
I forgot to add that they are only single disc releases, and now that I've actually flipped through them, I kinda regret purchasing them, the bitrates definitely suffer, not to mention I swear that at least movies 5 and 6 are interlaced.

Can you post the link of the company here so that anyone interested in the steelbook-making process may look into it?

I completely agree with you, and the other guy who said there should be a youtube tutorial. Oh wait, I already tackled this subject in one of my videos where I bitch about DVD cases. If you scan to about 2:09, I tackled the DBZ season sets.

I didn't think they were hard to remove; it's just annoying to have to constantly take out disc 3, put it aside, take out disc 4, and then place disc 3 back just to watch disc 4. And again when putting disc 4 back.

That is a good idea, but anything I make myself is going to look like ass. Especially if I have to glue or tape printer paper onto it.
Ah well, assuming this comes in a thin-pack case, I guess it can't be that difficult to retro-fit all the other discs into that kind of packaging. I wouldn't have to worry about dents in aluminum, at least.

I don't think Australia has had any Dragon Ball release that has the "disc stacking" cases.
In fact, I can't think of any DVD that has them here. But I could be wrong.

Rightstuf has some box shots.. but movie 12 & 13 say triple feature.. and there's a shot of the new broly movie cover. Also the movie 12 and 13 doesn't have any funi logos so it looks to be a place holder.

Those covers have been around for a while now. They revealed the new Broly cover 3 months ago.

Oh well no wonder it cost so much to get the steel book version. That's the most color I've ever seen on one of those. o_O

How much would "making your own" steel book cost? I couldn't find pricing on the site.

I am pissed. If this turns out to be true, I will not complete this DVD collection.
Instead, I'll focus on the Blu-Ray releases. Gotta upgrade eventually.

I'm still wondering how the movie 8, 10, and 11 set is going to work as a Steelbook...

I think they look fantastic. If you have a nice HDTV and a BD player, I don't know why you wouldn't spend a few more bucks and get these.

From the way godofchaos talked about the DVD version of the Double Feature in the discussion thread:
"DVD is still sealed for a few specific reasons."
&
"A few surprises to be had, but I'll let everyone know in the review."
In a way it almost sounds like these movies are in a standard case too. This is just total speculation, that's hopefully wrong, Anyways if this still is a steelbook they'll probably put the first Broli movie on the first disc seeing as it's the longest by far, and then put the other two on the second disc.
