I'm very surprised to announce that I downloaded KeyHoleTV and found FujiTV! It's choppy on my connection at times but it looks great! I'd suggest it to anyone who's having trouble with TVAnts, my computer wouldn't download that one.
Ok, now I really can't wait 5 hours, ahhh!!

;_; And if the lady in charge of my schedule has anything to say about it I'll never get to join in one. The only way she doesn't put me on Saturday night is if I ask off. Oh god why o_o This sounds like so much fun!

Indeed! I just can't believe I'm actually watching Fuji TV right now.

I do not know either what a Winsock is, perhaps Googling it? Also, I'm running on XP and TVAnts works fine so I don't know if it is because you're using a Vista but I highly doubt that would be why because I'm sure there are Vista users here who can use it fine.
Strange, I made a post a couple hours ago thanking you for your suggestion, but it seems to have been deleted. I forgot to log in and it was under "Guest", maybe that's why. Anyways, all I said was that the solutions I looked up on Google didn't work out, but when I switched to my other laptop which is running XP, everything was fine.

Looking forward to watching this live. I'm just hoping (since it's an analog broadcast) that it's letterboxed to widescreen, and not cropped to 4:3 or something. That would be weird to say the least...

Almost everything that's widescreen on Fuji TVs analog stream has been letterboxed so far, that I can tell. "The Chronicles of Narnia" was on earlier, and it was letterboxed.

I too will be at a family function, but I've reserved a corner in a basement room to watch Kai on my laptop. I've told everyone I'm not to be disturbed, but I'm sure all the little kids (2 years old) won't listen or care. The one nice thing about being here is that their internet has a much faster connection than mine at home, which will be nice. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do much chatting or discussion, since as soon as it's over, I have to get back to interacting with family members. ;)

Thanks for posting that how-to, Hujio. I'd planned to wait for subtitles, but that damned countdown on Kanzentai made me antsy. I'll catch this and the new open for One Piece, then wait for OP subtitles since I don't know that story backwards and forwards.

How could I watch these episodes on the net, since I don't have access to Japanese channels?

Just wait for it to be uploaded to YouTube or wherever, it shouldn't take that long.

TVAnts should do it for you, or just wait for torrents.

Also, don't know if I can ask this, but just how do I get to TV Tokyo, if I wanted to? There's another show that's titillating me just as much as Kai that I want to watch, and it comes on right before Kai does.

Is the new opening confirmed to be on today?

I'm pretty sure it is. And it would make sense, considering today is the premier of 'Dream 9' and a major turning point in the story of One Piece. And I mean MAJOR...or really close to said turning point...

Search 东京电视台

Pretty sure this is what you're looking for.

[Edit] - Sorry, you can also put in 日本 and get a list of all Japanese channels. Some are written a little different in Chinese, but for the most part it's pretty straight forward.

WOAH!! There was just a commercial for the Dream 9 DBK/One Piece power hour on Fuji TV!! It had that same BGM that we're used to for the Kai promos, but it was played in split screen with Kai on the left and one piece of the right; and I'm pretty sure I just saw a clip of Goku going Kaio-Ken!! Awesome!! Amazing!! Yatta!!

I hope someone is capturing these. I love having old promos along with shows. Wouldn't it be cool to have DBZ promos from 20 years ago?

For those who don't get Fuji TV, use Keyhole TV. It let's you watch Japanese TV channels on your computer. You'll have to hunt for it in the channel list, though. It's in the middle somewhere.

EDIT: It's フジテレビ

I have Fastone Capture, but whenever I try to capture TVants, I just get a black screen; like when you try to take a print screen of a video playing on Windows Media Player... :? I'm sure these commercials will eventually end up on YouTube.
