Dragon Ball Z Being Re-edited and Re-dubbed for HDTV

About how many commercial breaks should we expect here? Has the average total runtime for a 30 Japanese anime gone down since the show first aired?

I know that here in America, 30 minute shows used to have only a coupl of minutes worth of commercials in the 60's-70's, and now-a-days it's puching 10 minutes of commercials per 30 minutes.

Is that really footage from the series?! The animation in that Kaio-Ken scene seemed totally difference from any of the other commercials, and I think it would seem really out of place in the flow of the show.

It looks like animation from the new opening.

Hey, what does everyone think they'll do with the eyecatch? Same one, just newly animated, or a completely new one? I say a whole new one.

DBZ episode 1 - 24:34 minutes
DBZ episode 2 - 24:36 minutes

Recent One Piece episodes have been averaging around 23:30 minutes. So maybe a loss of one minute at the most compared to how it was in 1989.

What channel is Fuji TV on KeyHoleTV. All the Hiragana/Kanji are just squares for me. I can see Japanese text on Firefox; but, not that.

And instead use full length opening themes, not to mention that stupid Gold Roger thing on every episode. It all balances out in the end. Bottom line, there's less episode content now compared to back in the 80's.

I'm having the same problem with my Keyhole program displaying all kanji and kana as simply squares (this and Skype seem to be the only times my computer has problems with them for some reason), so I just clicked on every channel with a five square name until I found it. I used ctrl+v to paste it into keyhole.
