If anyone cares I am about half way, maybe slightly less, through my script, and when I am done I will be posting it up here for you to all read. It's 103 pages so far.

Wow, really digging all the ideas being tossed around. I especially like Dayspring's since it covers the entire series in only a couple movies with each one having a solid plot. Sure, it woulda been nice to see the younger characters get into the film, but I doubt any child actor would be able to pull off going through any kind of intense fight scene.

I don't wanna have to go off on my own wall o' text, but I will say that I like the idea of combining the Red Ribbon and Piccolo stuff. I had the idea that there'd be a similar scene of the gang (dunno exactly who yet) get captured by the Red Ribbon while their guard does one big plot dump of how they ended up teaming with Piccolo for the dragon balls. And just for kicks, I'd make the guard end up being Shao who would side mention something about working for some kind of eccentric king before working for RR.

As for what kind of world I'd want it to convey, I'd probably just stick to Toriyama's designs of primarily dome buildings, though I probably wouldn't make the colors that bright (if anything I'd darken them down even for day scenes) out of fear of it ending up like the highlighter attack that was the Speed Racer movie (still enjoyable, though).

The whole idea of animal-people is also pretty interesting, so I think I'd include an occasional one in the background. The catch would be that they won't be too obvious. The way I'm imagining it, they'd look more like people with really good makeup jobs so things like whiskers and noses won't look too out there (think Halloweentown). If I did go this direction, though, I'd definitely end up playing out the movie in a more blatantly hokey fashion, which I'm kinda against.

... I haven't thought of a way to include him, but if Karin were to show up in my movie, I'd probably make him a humanoid cat. I have no idea why, but I also feel the need to give him a personality similar to Kisuke Urahara from Bleach. It wouldn't be too big of a stretch for Karin.
