"Pitians" makes me think the pun is based on "pity". And "Coreans" makes me think of "Koreans". I think if I ever refer to them or use them in a fic, I'll go with either Shin-jin or "The Core" for them.

Also, damn you Toriyama for answering something I have just recently answered in a fanfic! *shakes fist* Though, as interesting as the whole fruit thing is, I like my idea better.

I like “The Core” but I think that would be a perfect name for those Shin that became evil, I forgot the name for them that Herms mentioned.

Didn't this design predate the anime Yardratians? Granted, not officially, since they predated it in Awawa World (supposedly) and in Toccio The Angel; the rest came after the series ended.

I know the design is an old concept but to go and slap the label “the people of Yardrat” on them when a specific design was made for that race by Toei seems like he is sort of jacking with them. Now we have genderless Shins/Corians when there was a (cute) female one in the anime running around slap boxing with Majin Buu.

But again, being genderless just means no reproductive organs. Her looking female contradicts nothing.

As for the Yardrat, the point I was making is that Toriyama may have originally intended to have these aliens be the Yardrat. It's just that the first story never got published, while the second one came out waaaaaaaaaaay late. Thus it would be an unfortunate coincidence.

Just Makaio and Makaioshin. Although, "The Core" works as implying root evil/goodness, which I like since that's essentially what Shin-Jin and evil Shin-jin are.

Yeah, you can portray genderless races in multiple ways. The Nameks go with the 'we all look like men' idea. But physical dimorphism without actual gender is still possible in a genderless race. Just like how a gendered race can have someone of one gender who looks a lot like the other gender a non-gendered race can cover the physical spectrum as well and still be genderless.

And yeah, the reason I'm using The Core for them is because it really does have so many applications and relations to their position and nature. It's got a lot of applications~

Yeah, you can't exactly say that the Namekians would look female if you just slapped some breasts on them. In addition to having no breasts, they all have pretty masculine builds.

Man, I never realized how huge Piccolo was. I knew he was the tallest (or one of the tallest) of the Z-Fighters, but he towers over them with a height of 226 cm!

Son Goten's favourite food is pocky, as stated. Interestingly enough, on the front cover of DBZ Volume 22, Goten is eating a pocky.

Well, there's a lot of different kinds of convenience store bento, so it's not as bad as if all he could eat was, say, cheetos or something. I guess it depends on your personality too. I've been eating the same tuna and mayonnaise onigiri practically every day since I've been in Japan, and I haven't gotten sick of it yet. Granted, it's not the only thing I eat, and I'm not forced to eat it by androids, so that helps.
