Well, that is a surprise. I just find kinda random, at best. I think that Tulluce or Wheelo would've been more appropriate, though.

This game sounds incredible. The only sad part is that it seems really short. They should have put the Saiyan and Freeza arcs together like the first Legacy of Goku...oh well guess they have to drain the series dry like they always do. Anyways what the fuck is it with people and Broli ? He's the worst DBZ villain in some of the worst DBZ films. Turles should have been the secret boss. I mean seriously how are you gonna put a Super Saiyan in the game when the concept hasn't even been brought up in the actual story!?
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.

For anyone who has imported the game, a GameFAQ user by the name of alerist has put up a translation guide for the game over on its GameFAQ page. I've been putting together a walkthrough myself, but it could be awhile before I can get it finished.

Sold above 86,000 in its first week in Japan. Pretty good. Charted second I believe, only under the Persona remake for PSP.

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

It really is funny that this game has the "Kai" name, when it includes lots of filler like Goku falling into Hell, the Serpent Princess, Gohan and the robot, etc, when all of those things were cut out from the Kai TV series itself.

So they did change it from Kai to Z. Interesting. I think calling it a Z game actually makes more sense, because it includes all that filler material that was cut out of Kai.

And that means there's no worries if there are new games labled as Kai.Herms wrote:So they did change it from Kai to Z. Interesting. I think calling it a Z game actually makes more sense, because it includes all that filler material that was cut out of Kai.
They can change it to Z, and it'll be done

Well DS is region-free. So thank you EU.

Hmm, it seems like no one posted any scans from the May issue of V-Jump that had the game walkthrough bonus handout thing, so here are all of the content pages:

I have larger and higher resolution images if anyone wants them.

Yeah, I guess I was just being lazy. And I realized after I finished uploading these smaller versions, that I had the scanner on the wrong settings, so the images look a little dull and, well, just plain crappy; so my apologies for that.sangofe wrote:Can't you upload and link them, rambo?
I'm linking them as we speak.
Since DS is a region free system and the carts are identical in all countries, then it would be completely stupid for Atari or whoever to not release it in the US after the UK version comes out.
With that said, once the UK version comes out, if there is no word on a US release, you better believe I'll be putting in an order at amazon.co.uk

Europe always gets Japanese voices in their handheld DB games, so I'm importing it even if Atari does announce it. Amazon UK won't ship video games outside of the UK though.omegacwa wrote:Since DS is a region free system and the carts are identical in all countries, then it would be completely stupid for Atari or whoever to not release it in the US after the UK version comes out.
