I think he meant that going the direction they did with his costume in the movie was a wiser decision than it would have been to try to make him look like his anime counterpart.

Thats just incredibly stupid. Comparing a Cosplay to a movie done by a major studio.

In that video I posted the guy said he could do better with 40 bucks or whatever, and that the movie version stunk. I disagree. I think his version looked crappy, and could have been done a lot better even on a terrible budget.
I have watched some of this guy's videos before, the point of them is to show you how you can create hollywood level effects(or close to) at home.
I was unimpressed with his Piccolo. That's it.

The Robert Patterson (Twilight's Edward) as Vegeta is an April Fools joke created by that DBE fan site that closed down a while back.

They were seen together because they are collaborating on some other project that isn't DB-related.

Don't feel bad, you'd be surprised how many people believed it. The site's source was 'www.Variety.com/apris-fools' obviously it didn't go anywhere but apparently noone even bothered to read it

I've actually been all over the costuming for Daimaou in the movie since I first saw it- armor in heavy black and red on a Daimaou man? Fantastic stuff. I could even go with the way they styled his features if he was darker. Anyone remember that comparison shot we had of a promo-ype pic of movie Daimaou grinning wildly at the camera and the actual shot of Daimaou it lined up with? That was awesome.

As for the video? It's not better than the movie version visually. One because Pic isn't that neon in his tones, and two because it's the wrong effing Piccolo and I'd expect a fan to know that <_< Shame on you video boy. It's a decent enough cosplay but I like mine better.

There's a 28 minute interview with Justin Chatwin on America's Hulu, and it has clips of the final fight that they cut out like Piccolo smashing Goku's face into a rock.

Question: Why does this series need THREE interviewers? Isn't that a little awkward? Normally isn't this situation switched?
If I were looking at just the screen without any sound I'd think Chatwin was interviewing them. o_O
I mean, I've never seen a host-related TV show where you've got multiple hosts and only one guest; unless you had a three-headed host...but that would bring up all sorts of questions that aren't even related to this interview, so I'll drop that for now. Still...wth? o_O;;;

Yeah, while the hair wasn't perfect; Goku's hair was never really designed with logic in mind anyways so no need to overly fret about it. I still kinda wish Chatku would have had the bangs though...I miss the bangs.

Good to not let the negativity overwhelm ya; while I do have issues with his performance (some overacting, quite a bit of stilted lines), my main beef's with the writer and director of the movie anyways; they're the two people who have the most power over how the characters are portrayed.

Just to clear things up, Hulu actually has legal TV Shows/Movies/Fansubs/etc, which is why they have those ads.

Anyway, nice interview. I'm still in the middle of it, and Chatwin seems like a pretty cool guy.

Saw new screenshots for Avatar : The Last Airbender's live action movie; it looks so accurate I feel kind of jealous. TT_TT

I know I shouldn't, but when I look at that all I can think is "WE could have had something that epic! That could have been us!" if only DB's live action movie rights had been in a different pair of hands. (Also heard Avatar's got $250 million to play with for its trilogy, which averages out to about 83 million per movie.)

It shouldn't bother me, but missed opportunities suck. I think DB deserved a better product than what fox gave us. Just have to cut the losses and move on.

I've purposely been avoiding following any news of any other animation-to-live-action movies because of DBE; only reason I even saw these Avatar images were because they were in a newspaper I pick up.

I dunno, it might just be his clothes, but it just seems....different. It's kinda like Chatwin's Goku in appearance to me. It's there, but it's just not...the same.

I think it's the tattoo on his forehead, plus he looks younger and has a five o'clock shadow on his head. But compared to Evolution, the Avatar pics have an 'avatar' feel to them. When i first saw the Evolution pics, they didn't even remind me of DragonBall
