For the Sega Saturn, just get a Pro Action Replay, you can easily bybass the boot up for import Saturn games, although tracking down that stuff now is pointless since Saturn emulation is getting kicked into high gear ^^
Lets face it, mod chips are dead. You can shave the back off SNES+N64 carts, GBA carts play no matter what country they come from, and you got these nifty USB devices for Xbox and GC and boot disks for the Cube.
Yep...mod chips are sooooo dead

I wish there were better ways to play import games on the PS2, than swap-discs (removing that piece off the disc tray, as well as forcefully pulling it back out, once it's already gone in isn't my idea of being careful with your console.) As I'd rather not take the chance, what with my tray's gears already sounding a little troublesome.
I still want to play Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, but chipping, or swapping irks me... I wonder if the old PS1 (or the Breaker Pro) would work on the new slimmer ps2, being a top loader.

I really want to import the Japanese Budokai games as well as the Naruto series... there's been a couple methods for playing import games on PS2 without mod chips, but does anyone have one they PERSONALLY use or can vouch for that is somewhat simple and doesn't damage the PS2? I suppose if I get a raise at work I can plunk down $200 for an import PS2, but until then...

We'll, I know of the swap-disc method, a buddy of mine used it to play burned, and imported games on his PS1 (but back then it was quite a bit less difficult.) Suffice to say, unless you're willing to pay out $200.00+ to buy an import PS2 (which would probably be the safest way to go about it,) you'll likely need to go with Swap-Discs, and the notion of being careful while using it.
Here's the most popular, and widely used Swap-Disc I know of:
Swap Magic

Thanks a lot for the suggestion! I'll be sure to try it out.

Your welcome. I was just thinking the prospect over though, about the swap-disc thing, and I suggest you buy a replacement ps2, which you could do easily and fairly cheaply, if you've got a GameStop or EBGames in your area. I say this, because with the added wear and tear on it, you might want to have a second one that you could only play your imports on, to reduce the wear the console suffers overall.
