The game is turning out really well; with the front screen of the updated site shown; thats pretty much all the good guys except chichi and the ox-king...which they MUST add in the game.
Do you think we will see arale in the game since General Blue is in?

He looks hungry to me.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Huh, the game's website says that the game goes from the RR Army to the battle with Daimao. So I guess the very beginning of DB isn't included after all. Curses.

Well, Jackie Chun did participate in the 22nd Budokai...

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

So basically the game covers the middle bulk of original DB, without the beginning and end. "Dragon Ball with the crust cut off" if you will. Kinda sucks (in the case of DB, the crust is damned delicious), but I suppose it's still better than no game at all.
And yeah, that two player vs mode looks very promising. The more I see of this, the more this looks (at least in concept) like Advance Adventure for the Wii. And that's all well and good by me.

Maybe if it sells they'll do sequel like end of dragonball to frieza saga

I HOPE they have a sequel, this game is pretty original so it would suck to only have 1.

With the timeline, it really looks like a sequel to Dragon Ball origins.

A sequel, with grown-up Goku fighting Piccolo Jr, Vegeta and perhaps also Freeza would be pretty damn awesome, indeed.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws
comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

The Kai DS game is already covering 2/3rds of that, right?

It is pretty convenient that
DragonBall Origins,
DragonBall: Revenge of King Piccolo, and
DragonBall Z: Attack of the Saiyans fit together so perfectly. It's gotta be intentional.
So, if we continue with this ordering sequence, a game featuring the Freeza arc would be released on the Wii next, followed by the Androids/Cell arc on the DS and, finally, the Buu arc on the Wii.

No need to stop there. How 'bout a GT adventure-RPG on the DS?

Didn't they already make one of those for the GBA? Transformations or something like that...
