Question about Super Sonic Warriors 2

I'm playing this right now and am being annoyed by the branching paths. In paticuler the Cooler story. I have done all the Metal Cooler stuff but I'm unable to access the alternate path. I checked game faqs and it was no help. it says to unlock the alternate Cooler path to defeat Goku using Arc Blast. But to unlock arc blast you have to defeat Freeza's Treachery leval. Which is located in the locked path. What am I missing here?

Come on fellas. Somebody here must have played this game. its moderately annoying trying to figure this out.

Thanks anyway. I miss the days when all you needed to unlock stuff was completeing a straightforward story mode.

Yeah the info was conflicting. It said I needed to defeat Goku with arc blast to unlock the alternate path. But it said to get arc blast you must win the Freeza's treachery part. Which has to be in the Cooler story mode.
