No she isn't. As you point out, it's an alternate universe. This is neither manga nor GT Pan. At the time of the 28th Budokai, this Pan was stronger than the Pan we saw in the manga. Tack on another 10 years training with Vegetto instead of less than 5 years by herself.

Also, why do you keep saying Bojack is trying? He's very clearly not. At all. And that's in his first form. If anything, I'd say they played down Pan's strength, but then again, this isn't our Bojack either.

I would have rather seen this concept as a series rather than GT. I admit when I first read this thread when it started up, didn't think the comic would last long. Glad I was wrong, I actually read the whole thing yesterday. This is as good as Toriyama's story telling IMO. Keep up the work, I hope to read more.

Not to sound too overly negative but... there's about as much storytelling in DBM as there is in a series of "tournament mode" video game fights. Not that anyone reads it for "story," of course. The fights themselves range from awesome (Nail vs Recoome), overly drawn out (Cell vs Dabra), and extremely one-sided (all the others)... exactly like DB(Z) itself. I actually like the fact that Broly can fight evenly with Vegetto and that Vegetto-verse Pan can at least hold her own against Bojack. Makes for more entertaining fights, or at least more entertaining than they would be if they had to adhere to "A obviously could never be a match for B because C said so". Since it's obvious DBM doesn't exist for "story" or "plot" could we just leave the canon at the door and enjoy the senseless pummeling? :P

I like the what if scenarios, myself. I think at least one of the universes should have had the humans. They were grossly overlooked in Z and even moreso in GT. I know the humans are "weak" and all, but they've gotta be at least stronger than Primitive King Vegeta or those sex appeal characters. Maybe a universe where they learned Kaio-Ken? It's as plausible as some of the other AU setups... I also think that, despite what problems GT overall has as a series, that it could also have been an AU. Sure, the story itself was horrible and the main villains weren't too great, but the side villains (Ledgic, Rilld, among others) were pretty neat on their own.
Victator Supreme wrote:Looking forward to seeing the Omega Namek* (the giant thats a fusion of every namek in the universe.) fight. Nobody short of Vegetto should be able to stop him.
I'm gonna call him Big Green. :D

I wonder - since he's the only Namek in his universe, then does that mean he had to create the Namek Dragonballs for that universe? Assuming he's a warrior type, does he even have that ability? Does his universe even have Namek Dragonballs, or is there at least one dragon type Namek in that universe keeping watch over them?

I think I would have prefered this over the Blackstar DB saga as the beginning of GT.

Hmm, Bojack doesn't necessarily look like he's transformed yet. His bandanna's been burnt off, but that's it.

Maybe he'll transform on the next page. Either way, Pan's about to get hurt. Unless of course, Gohan steps in.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

I just realized this means SSJ Pan is superior to two-times-in-the-Time-Chamber Vegeta, one-time-in-the-HTC Kamiccolo, two-times-in-HTC Trunks, and probably over-powered-post-time-chamber Gohan.

It's the "constant exposure to Vegetto" effect, I suppose.

Yep and that is just silly…
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.

I wonder if by the end of the comic's run if we'll have created some sort of diagram that explains how that works.

Also, 500th post.

Yes, because she, as a Super Saiyan, used a Kamehameha directly to the back of his head, with enough energy to apparently wind her, to knock over and slightly damage Bojack.

Yep. Definitely makes her stronger than all of them. Totally.

I can see this Pan with fully mastery Super Saiyan form, something none but Gohan had by the time they fought Bojack.

I just watched the Bojak movie unfortunately. But in it Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo were able to get about the same amounts of offense against Bojak initially.

Given that Vegeta's showing versus Bojack was "Hi! *gets broken in half*", yes.

Couldn't have anything to do with underestimating his opponent, considering her being a little girl... ?

Added to that, this SSJ Pan trained over 10 years with Vegetto, while this Bojack spent 27 years not being dead.

Translation notes:
1) "That's great, Pan" should read "Bravo, Pan." I'm guessing they thought Bravo wasn't an English word, too.
2) Zangya actually says "The little one's going to know of Bojack's fury!..."
