Episode #0127! VegettoEX, Meri, and Jeff tackle volume 16 of the manga. The 23rd Tenka-ichi Budokai is more or less at a close (depending on which country you are in), and there is no turning back now with regards to the story-telling style. Lots of news, May's releases, and your e-mails round out the episode. Referenced sites:
Go ahead and grab it. Big thanks to
godofchaos for hosting the appalling
*one-hundred-twenty-seven* episodes, now.
Yep Yep... more manga goodness.
w0rd.

I have much love for the Tenkaichi Budoukai in general; especially the 23rd.
I wonder why Piccolo never used his giant form or his stretchy-arms later on in the series.
On hiatus.

Well, they didn't really help him all that much. The giant body thing really backfired, and Goku was able to grab Piccolo's stretched arm as well. Plus, ki blasts have the same advantage of being able to attack at a distance without the risk, so once those become really commonly used the point of stretching arms kind of goes away. He did use that technique again in DBZ movie 5 though.

It may be a bit late to comment on this episode, but I just listened to it today (well, technically yesterday) and wanted to chime in that I agree with your opinions on digisubbers replacing Japanese credits with credits for themselves.
Coincidentally, I spent the better part of the (3-day) weekend working on
this, in a large part due to my disgust for this practice.
