Whose to say that it won't take the exact amount of space having the original Dboxes and these smaller funiboxes?
Edit: I replied to the guy who was talking about the shelf space on the last page. Damn, it's happened twice to me on a single day...

Well, that's true. I guess it's also, that I would prefer not to have to go through a large amount of boxes when watching through the series, like I did with the FUNi Season Sets. But the good news is that it will most likely look much more appealing when all is done than the FUNi Sets did, all lined up...dragonfist wrote:Whose to say that it won't take the exact amount of space having the original Dboxes and these smaller funiboxes?

Anyone know when these come up for pre-order? I'm imagining that they'll sell out pretty quickly, especially if this is a "for the fans" release (i.e. a conservative amount will be made) and that people from all English-speaking countries will be buying them, despite it just being a US/NA release. I've been thinking about buying DBZ on DVD for years but it looks like the time is finally right. It'd be nice if they make these region 0 (or at least region 1 and 2) because I really doubt there'll be a separate Europe/UK release. Worse comes to worse, I can always play them on my regionless PC DVD ROM drive (or buy some cheap-ass region 0 DVD player).
Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere in the thread, but I'm late to this thread and I obviously can't really read through around 120 pages.

The Right Stuf preorders should be up before the month's end.Teclo wrote:Anyone know when these come up for pre-order? The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.
Yeah just hold out for the Right Stuf preorder. Damn I'm so crazy for this release that I might not even wait for a Funimation studio sale on Right Stuf.email2003 wrote:I was about to ask when we could pre-order the set. I looked on Amazon.com and found nothing. Not even the Z Store had a listing anywhere.

I feel ya. I've already made peace with the fact that this is a Day 1 purchase for me...Raki wrote:Yeah just hold out for the Right Stuf preorder. Question: Does Amazon also ship early or is it just a Z-Store/Rightstuf thing?
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!
