Well, since the pun comes from the English word 'briefs', and both the doctor's name and underwear are written as 'buriifu' in Japanese, it makes sense to keep the pun since the name was not altered at all from the original word. I don't think it's really something that should be viewed as a mistake, since people can interpret it either way (though I personally like going with the puns when possible, so I call him Dr. Briefs).Hujio wrote:Sorry, but this is one of those things that bus me, so I have to jump in and correct you real quick.
