Well I like Fusion, at any rate.
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?

I've still not seen GT (I've seen maybe 3 eps), so I try not to pass judgment, however I've been told over and over again that I'm not missing much.

I might love you.Velasa wrote:Five, I like Piccolo. And what does Piccolo do in GT? Exactly. Die and end up in Hell. I festered about that for a looooong time before I found out that he ended up there for a reason besides the sins of the father, but it still burns in the back of your throat you know?
And, just to add to that- GT is basically filler. And it isn't even consistent with other filler, especially on this specific point. The first time Toei had Freeza and Cell cause a ruckus in Hell, warriors were dispatched to handle the situation. Already dead warriors with halos and all. Yet, for some reason, when Goku's stuck fighting Freeza and Cell, amidst the biggest jailbreak in history, the one guy who can help is told he can't go? What, were the god's all on holiday? There was 0 sense of the powers that be having the slightest interest in the proceedings, and Piccolo's methods to get to Hell shouldn't have been necessary. We all know that, according to Toei, a word from Dai Kaio can grant a fighter from heaven permission to lend assistance in Hell. Otherwise, what's the point in even letting worthy fighters keep their bodies, if you're just going to bench them during legitimate threats that involve the afterlife?
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.
It also boggles my mind how escaping through a portal out of Hell and back to Earth automatically makes all the villains 'alive' again, in the sense that they can be killed, and just end up back at Enmas. It's like a revolving door.Onikage725 wrote:I might love you.Velasa wrote:Five, I like Piccolo. And what does Piccolo do in GT? Exactly. Die and end up in Hell. Bussani, yes, it was all around a shitty idea for a plot. The whole Super 17 arc / saga whatever you want to call it.
Also, I agree with what people were saying about the Majin Buu arc. I liked the Freeza arc and the Cell arc way better than the Majin Buu arc.
I didn't think fusion was a bad idea either, because it went with a new idea for fighters.

This is my theory. I consider SSJ4 Goku stronger than SSVegetto. I also consider SSVegetto stronger than SSJ3 Gotenks.Senzu_Bean wrote:The most retard thing is how SSJ4 Goku can be stronger than SSJ3 Gotenks. Ridiculous!

Well back in the Buu arc, Gotenks at just SSj1 was comparable to Goku at SSj3. That's a huge freakin' lead he's got there in overall power. Logically, I wouldn't be surprised if that gap was still so large that even after 15 yeras, SSj3 Gotenks would rival SSj4 Goku, though not necessarily surpass him.LeprikanGT wrote:@Senzu - Why WOULDN'T a SS4 be stronger than a SS3?
Of course, Toei doesn't adhere to normal logic, and instead decided to super-boost Goku to be stronger than everyone no matter what. So the idea's kinda moot.

I don't think SSJ3 Gotenks could be strong as SSJ4 Goku. Super Saiya-jin 4 is like a whole new transformation in itself. It involved Goku turning into a giant ape. Also, SS3 drains the hell out of the fighter unlike SS1, or SS2, or SS4. SS3 has a weakness.SSj Kaboom wrote:Well back in the Buu arc, Gotenks at just SSj1 was comparable to Goku at SSj3. There were things I hated about GT and things I liked. I liked the way Vegeta looked to be honest. I liked that it was more urban. I liked the villains. I liked Super Saiyan 4. I hated that all the fights were like an episode long. Hated Goku being turned into a little kid. Hated the pacing.
I think if it wasn't for the bad pacing, the super quick battles, and nobody else getting to do anything but sit on their hands for the series, it would've been pretty good.

I don't know about SSJ3 Gotenks vs SSJ4 Goku, but what about SSJ3 Vegetto? Theoretical, yes, but considering how powerful he was at just SSJ1, SSJ3 Vegetto would probably easily be more powerful than SSJ4 Goku.SSVegetto wrote:I don't think SSJ3 Gotenks could be strong as SSJ4 Goku. Even if someone disagrees, we can at least agree that SSJ1 Vegetto was beyond SSJ3 Gotenks, so it's not like having a higher number next to your SSJ instantly means you're stronger.
I kind of know what you mean. I don't really have a strong opinion either way, but I don't really understand people who are angered by it. Is there something wrong with Goku being a kid again? Even if he wasn't, he'd act the same way. It's Toei-Goku, he always acts like a goofy kid. See Afterlife Tournament and driving school episodes.caejones wrote:Am I the only one who likes Goku being chibified throughout GT?![]()

I can't agree more. Going by what was very clearly stated in the Buu Saga (to Vegeta), a dead fighter who has kept their body and is granted access to the physical world will be more durable and less susceptible to fatigue than a living person. However, if they die they are gone for good. Anyone re-killed in that arc should no longer exist.Bussani wrote:It also boggles my mind how escaping through a portal out of Hell and back to Earth automatically makes all the villains 'alive' again, in the sense that they can be killed, and just end up back at Enmas. And imagine- if they'd had potara, they would have actually finished the fight without ripping off the end of the Buu fight.Rocketman wrote:The only character stronger than Vegetto is SSJ4 Gogeta.
