LOVE the music in these gameplay videos!
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Their logo seems to be a pair of pants though, and not all their members are pigs, going by some of the other videos and screenshots that have been released.

23rd October, Dragonball Raging Blast!
I'm hoping there's an interesting tale behind the Red Pants Army. Like, who would know about or revive an organization that's been dead for approximately 200 years. A descendant of Red or Black?
And then we have the Dark Eye...

Amen. I haven't been to this thread for a couple of days and the slew of video information is most pleasing. The more I see of this game, the more I want it. It's not your typical annual DB game, Toriyama's deeply involved, and most importantly, it completely immerses you in the Dragon Ball world. I've been asking for a 3-D RPG-esque DB game for the longest. The only thing I don't like is that it has to be in the form of an MMO. I usually hate them, but I just can't help exploring it once it comes out. At this point, beggars can't be choosers, I suppose.Rory wrote: I don't care whether you love Dimps (like me), or Spike.

For a game that doesn't use next-gen HD graphics, I'll have to agree with you. The level design is just so much more vivid than any recent Dragon Ball game in memory. Just leave it to Toriyama to think of up of some pretty inventive scenery. Planet Namek look gorgeous. Even the area with a tree on top of the hill. A lot of it reminds of Dragon Quest VIII, not surprisinglyThe graphics in this game seem to trump a good amount of the graphics I've seen lately in recent DB/Z games. Shocked

... Wait, Red has been dead for hundreds of years. Either Toriyama didn't consider the fact his body had to decay, or this is a result of time travel.
... Or maybe that IS a descendant of Red.
Man, is this what it felt like being a Japanese kid in the 80's?! Making Dragon Ball predictions like crazy?

Or something more over the top like 13 or 50 feet tall.
I may not get to actually play this game (unless it comes out in the U.S....and if my laptop can handle it) but the sheer amount of plot-related stuff that will come from this game makes me excited!
On hiatus.
